“Chervona Kalyna” is the first Ukrainian show in the Ukrainian language in Luxembourg. It is devoted to the Ukrainian culture and music, also it is for interviewing people who are related to the Ukrainian community in Luxembourg as well. It is to be aired twice a month on Mondays, at 13:10, after Local & International News in the Ukrainian language. The show is running for an hour. The host of the show is Iryna Skrypak, who started on the 21st of March, 2022.     UA У новому випуску «Червоної калини» Ірина Скрипак запросила до студії Ara City Radio люксембурзького поета Піта Гьорольда та художника‑ілюстратора Ферна Ролінгера, авторів книги Das Karussell von Odesa. Інтерв’ю, присвячене унікальній культурній події — перекладу книги «Карусель Одеси» українською мовою, відбулося напередодні презентацій українській спільноті в Люксембурзі та Саарбрюкені (Німеччина). Вперше в радіошоу прозвучала німецька мова завдяки перекладачці книги Євгенії Іноземцевій, яка допомогла створити цей міжкультурний міст.  До студії також завітала екс-директорка Української бібліотеки в Люксембурзі Анжела Домась, керівниця проєкту з перекладу та видання української версії книги. Разом ми говоримо про силу мистецтва і поезію, що долає кордони, і про те, як одна книга може об’єднати такі далекі і такі близькі культури — українську і люксембурзьку. EN In the new episode of Chervona Kalyna, Iryna Skrypak welcomed Luxembourgish poet Pit Hoerold and illustrator Fern Rollinger to the Ara City Radio studio — the authors of the book Das Karussell von Odesa. The interview, dedicated to a unique cultural event — the Ukrainian translation of the book, took place just before the book’s presentations to the Ukrainian communities in Luxembourg and Saarbrücken (Germany). For the first time in the show's history, the conversation was held in German, thanks to Yevheniia Inozemtseva, the translator of Pit’s poems, who helped build this intercultural bridge. The studio also welcomed Anzhela Domas, former director of the Ukrainian Library in Luxembourg and the project lead behind the translation and publication of the Ukrainian edition. Together, we talk about the power of art, poetry that crosses borders, and how one book can unite cultures that are both distant and deeply connected — Ukrainian and Luxembourgish. Support the show
