The world today is difficult.  Each week there are more headlines that shock us. Confusion abounds in society, and the Bible is scorned by many. How do we stay faithful in the midst of this? What can we do in the relative ‘simplicity’ of our homes to counter the culture and make disciples? Author and YouVersion Bible contributor, Shalene Roberts, joins us on RISE RADIO PODCAST to discuss what she’s learned while raising a family amidst the challenges of navigating these uncertain times and pursuing Biblical faith in Jesus Christ. What life skills would be most important in a crisis? What life hacks are vital to help in an emergency? Tonight we speak with Eddie Swartzentruber, who is an expert in self sufficient survival. Owing to the fact that he grew up in the Amish community, before he fled to the city to relocate into modern society.  However, after a 4 hour power cut caused a panic in his street, he decided he needed to write a book, called 'The Amish Ways', to help people be more prepared for a crisis. Why You Should AVOID Following This Trend.. (Danger Of Numerology)

A popular trend today convinces people that seeing patterns of numbers unlocks a special power or meaning for their life. Sometimes this leads to a fixation on license plates, clocks, receipts, Bible verse numbers etc. in an effort to find secret messages or instructions. Doreen Virtue, who was a prominent new age author and guru for many years, argues this practise is not innocent or harmless, but is a demonic deception. In this podcast episode on RISE Radio, Doreen Virtue joins us to discuss her experience with numerology in the new age and the dangers of it. I also ask her what she believes causes the phenomena of seeing patterns of numbers, and how it can affect people’s minds. We talk about spiritual divination, what the Bible says about it, and the freedom she has found since becoming a born again Christian. Noah’s Ark Research Team Deploy ‘Powerful Scan’ on Mount Ararat

Andrew Jones and the Noah’s Ark Scans team have been researching at the Mt Ararat site for many years. The boat shaped feature in the mountains of Eastern Turkey has long been debated and contested, whether it is simply a natural but strange geological feature or the remnants of the Biblical Ark used in the days of the worldwide flood. After several scientific tests have been conducted, Andrew Jones has now worked alongside Dr. Khosrow Bakhtar, who is a veteran of 25+ U.S. Department of Defense projects and author of 200+ technical papers.  Dr Bakhtar recently deployed his BakhtarRadar at the 515-foot Durupinar Formation. Preliminary results are said to be challenging the decades-old claim that the site is nothing more than a natural mass of rock. The final results are still in progress. In this podcast interview, I ask Andrew Jones for more details about what they have found up to this point, and whether he thinks the latest scan will add more weight to his belief that the feature is something more intriguing. * It’s important to note that this hasn’t yet been proven to be the remnants of a ship, but there are many on both sides of the debate who fiercely believe their findings. Either way, it doesn’t change the historicity of the Biblical account. You can find more information on the Noah’s Ark Scans project here: https://www.noahsarkscans.com You can read more about the latest scan here: https://www.dailymail.com/sciencetech/article-16070205/noahs-ark-durupinar-mount-ararat-scans.html Send a text to the RISE Podcast Subscribe to Rise Radio on your favourite podcast platform for regular episodes which look into the end times, world events, discernment of spiritual agendas, guest interviews and Biblical truth. A Final Call For The Last Hour (Don't Ignore This Warning)

The Call Is Urgent.. The Hour Is Late. It's important that we take these times seriously.  Wars. Conflicts. Strange weather events. Civil Unrest. Droughts. Earthquakes in diverse places. And that's just in the last couple of weeks. We can see many of the signs that Jesus Christ warned us to look for. The Bible has shown us how reliable and trustworthy it is. In this podcast we talk about 2 Peter chapter 3, and the important perspective it gives us about the last days of human history. We also hear from Australian music artist Tom Mottershead, with his song "Transitions", which focuses on trusting God as the world around us changes at an unprecedented rate. I also read an adapted rendition of J. C. Ryle, based on the verse, which points us to our true and only hope: "Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.  - Matthew 11:28-30 Send a text to the RISE Podcast Support the show
