    In this inspiring episode of The God Wink Podcast, host Cyndee Sparre welcomes minister and chaplain Kim Thomas, whom she first met at Barn 45. With more than 40 years of faith and ministry experience, Kim shares stories from her marriage to William, her counseling background, and her work in workplace, prison, Jewish, and government settings. Kim takes us through a remarkable journey of faith that began when she felt God leading her and her husband to leave Detroit and move to a new home. From speaking to the land in faith and finding Scripture that seemed to confirm the move, to securing a contingent contract and boldly declaring that their home was sold, Kim shares the God Winks that unfolded along the way. She also recounts a 21-day fast, a confirming dream, and an unexpected sign involving ravens. Her story continues into the community, where volunteering on a beautification committee opened the door to the mayor and created opportunities to pray over city issues. Kim shares why she believes God intervened to help keep Chrysler in the city while bringing additional jobs to the community. Kim also recounts being invited to the Michigan State Capitol to pray for government leaders and explains how God unexpectedly used her counseling degree through divine referrals and connections. She openly discusses encounters with witchcraft and idols and the importance of recognizing spiritual battles while remaining grounded in God's truth. Years later, after visiting her drug dealer and being told she needed help, Barbie returned home and came across Laverne Tripp giving a Salvation Call on television. In that moment, she gave her life to Jesus Christ and experienced instant freedom from addiction. Now sober for more than 35 years, Barbie shares her story as a testimony that God can redeem and completely transform any life.
