I realized that often when I'm meeting with potential new clients or talking to people online, they aren't really sure what a divorce coach is.  In this episode I break down that question and I address some of the most common other ones I receive.     Episode 14: We're Done Using the Word "Homewrecker"

    A few weeks ago, Tamar came across an instagram post in which a woman sent a Venmo request to the woman who had an affair with her husband. In the memo, she explained that since this woman played a role in her divorce, the other woman should at least contribute to it financially. She hashtagged the memo with "homewrecker"  Click here for IG post. This got Tamar thinking about accountability and who is actually responsible for the end of a marriage. Spoiler alert: it's not the woman who didn't take vows.  In this episode, Tamar: Breaks down the misogyny behind the concept of the homewrecker and why we need to stop using the word Looks at how the idea of "girl code" stays with women throughout their lives Focuses on the importance of holding men, and men alone, accountable for the actions of men Differentiates between being responsible for causing pain and being responsible for the status of a marriage.
