From Church Rejection to Reaching Hundreds of Thousands. Ft. Pastor Candice Grace

READY READY READY! From Church Rejection to Reaching Hundreds of Thousands. Ft. Pastor Candice Grace Candice Grace’s journey is one of faith, rejection, restoration, obedience, and becoming the woman she was called to be. One of ten children, Candice attended 24 different schools before the age of 17. By 18, she was already a mother, living on her own, working, and attending college. Raised as a pastor’s daughter, she knew the expectations that came with being a “good Christian woman”—but life didn’t unfold as neatly as she had been taught it should. She experienced rejection from the church, navigated marriage and motherhood, and later went through a divorce she was afraid to talk about because of the expectations surrounding marriage and relationships in the church. Behind the fear of what people would think, Candice was also trying to figure out who she was when she wasn’t somebody’s wife, mother, minister, or the pastor’s daughter. Then her life took an unexpected turn. Candice felt called to minister online. She studied TikTok for a month before going LIVE—and what started with just 17 people grew to more than 400 in three days. On June 5, 2026, she went LIVE for 24 continuous hours of prayer, worship, encouragement, and ministry, with the platform showing her content to more than 624,000 people in real time. But with influence came another conversation the church doesn’t always like to have: money. Candice has built a successful platform through TikTok LIVE, opening up a powerful conversation about faith, influence, ministry, money, and whether Christians can prosper financially without compromising their calling. We also get into the difference between monetizing your gift and exploiting people’s faith. Today, as the founder of Uplift LeadHERship, Candice is building something bigger than a social media following. This conversation gets into church hurt, divorce, motherhood, faith, prophecy, money, visibility, success, sacrifice, and what happens when God takes you outside of the box people expected you to stay in. She was once afraid of what people would think about her life. Now hundreds of thousands of people are watching what God is doing with it. 🎙️ Break Phree Podcast — Where Faith Meets Freedom.

WHEN ARE YOU GOING TO TELL ME YOU’RE GAY? Ft. Storm

While other young people were hiding relationships, changing the way they talked, or terrified that being honest could cost them their family, Storm grew up with something many Black gay boys never experience: Permission to exist exactly as he was. His mother didn’t shame him. She didn’t make him feel like something was wrong with him. She looked at her son and asked the question before he could even say the words: “When are you going to tell me that you’re gay?” And that moment may have changed the trajectory of his entire life. On this episode of Break Phree Podcast, Storm gets REAL about growing up gay in New Orleans, being a Black gay man in today’s world, and how having acceptance at home kept him from fighting some of the depression, secrecy, shame, and identity struggles that so many people silently carry. But we go even deeper. Storm talks about learning to do hair and makeup, finding his gift, navigating masculinity and sexuality, and what happens when the world has opinions about who you are—but you were never taught to hate yourself. Some people spend half their lives trying to become free. Storm had a mother who gave him permission to be free before the world could convince him he needed to hide. 🔥 This conversation is going to make some parents uncomfortable. It’s going to make some people rethink what “acceptance” really looks like. And it might make somebody realize that the way you respond when your child tells you who they are can stay with them for the rest of their life. 🎙️ STORM — on Break Phree Podcast Where Faith Meets Freedom.

The Pain That Refused to Let Me Go Ft.  Vaneesah “Vee” Bahar

The Pain That Refused to Let Me Go Ft. Vaneesah “Vee” Bahar Grief doesn’t always begin with death. Sometimes it begins with a prison sentence. Sometimes it begins the moment you’re forced to leave your newborn baby behind. Sometimes it comes through the loss of the people you love most. In this unforgettable episode of Break Phree Podcast, Vaneesah Bahar shares the heartbreaking chapters that shaped her life. After losing her father at just five years old, she would later face another unimaginable loss—being sentenced to six years in prison only three weeks after giving birth, forcing her to leave her infant son behind. But the pain didn’t stop there. Within the years that followed, Vaneesah experienced the devastating deaths of her grandmother, mother, and brother. Each loss left another wound, yet instead of allowing grief to consume her, she chose to transform it into purpose. Today, she is the founder of Grief Relief Angels and serves as a Violence Intervention Specialist, walking alongside families affected by violence, trauma, incarceration, and unimaginable loss. Her life is a testament that healing doesn’t mean your pain disappears—it means refusing to let your pain have the final word. This conversation is raw, honest, and deeply human. It’s about motherhood, incarceration, loss, faith, forgiveness, resilience, and discovering purpose in the places you never expected. If you’ve ever had to grieve a person, a dream, your freedom, lost time with your children, or the life you thought you were going to have, this episode will remind you that even when the pain refuses to let you go, God never lets go of you.
