    Episode 133: Eurovision Asia - Malaysia & Rhythm of Bhutan

    Despite a false start in 2025, Eurovision Song Contest Asia looks like it's really happening in 2026! The proof? A full-on national final from Bhutan called Rhythm of Bhutan that has everything we love about national finals from small nations, plus a powerhouse internal selection from Malaysia. We talk about all five competitors in the final and what songs are likely to do well in November's contest.     Episode 132: Songs from Eurovision's Class of 2026

    We thought we were going to sit down for a nice simple episode of the podcast, and then the EBU announced everything. Burgas! New age limit! No more pre-recorded backing tracks! Less well-defined rules about "conflicts"!     We'll be covering the famously terrible 2008 Eurovision Song Contest in a livestream later this year, but we thought we ought to cover the second place winner (and Oscar's favorite!), 1991's ESC at Cinecittà in Rome.
