    Day of Atonement: You Can't Save Yourself | Angie Robertson | September 20, 2026

    Have you ever felt like everything depends on you — like if you don't get it right, no one will, and there's no room for mistakes? This message unpacks an ancient ritual for Yom Kippur, or Day of Atonement: a high priest entering behind a veil, stripped of his usual garments, carrying blood that wasn't his own, and two identical animals with two completely different fates — one sacrificed, one sent away carrying everything that had gone wrong. Angie Robertson walks through what this ritual reveals about Jesus — a far better high priest who didn't need to repeat the process year after year, but finished it once, for good. From there, the message moves into the book of Hebrews to make the case that you don't have to earn your way into God's presence. You're invited to draw near with confidence, not crawl in fear. Therefore honor God with your bodies." Do you ever feel like your body is just... yours to do whatever you want with? Scripture says something surprising: it's not — and that's actually good news. This episode walks through 1 Corinthians 6:12-20, where Paul tells the Corinthian church their bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, addressing purity and self-control through the lens of body, soul, and spirit.     The Dove Remained: Jesus and The Holy Spirit | Danny Robertson | August 30, 2026

    John 1:32 (NIV): "Then John gave this testimony: 'I saw the Spirit come down from heaven as a dove and remain on him.'" Jesus is the eternal, incarnate Son of God — fully God, fully man — yet Scripture shows Him ministering through the Holy Spirit throughout His earthly life. This episode walks through John 1:29-34, where John the Baptist testifies that he saw the Spirit descend on Jesus like a dove — and remain. Danny unpacks why Jesus, though fully God, chose to live and minister in His humanity by the Spirit's power, modeling for us the same dependence He calls us to walk in.     We Have An Advocate: Jesus | Danny Robertson | August 23, 2026

    What happens when you mess up — again — and you're not sure you can face God about it? This episode walks through 1 John 2:1-2 and one of the most comforting ideas in Scripture: we have an Advocate, and His name is Jesus. Danny Robertson traces the word "advocate" (Greek: parakletos) through John 14-16, showing how it points first to the Holy Spirit and then, in 1 John, to Jesus Himself — the one who stands at the Father's right hand pleading your case. From there, the message opens into the Day of Atonement (Yom Kippur), the ancient scapegoat ritual, and the Ark of the Covenant, tracing how each one foreshadows what Jesus already accomplished on the cross. 1 John 2:1-2 (NIV): "My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin.
