Come listen to Ben (a pastor, family man and lifelong lover of Jesus) & Christopher (whose name means the bearer of Christ, but up until last year would most likely burst into flames upon entering a church) discuss life, the Bible, & the pursuit of eternal happiness. Whether you are long-time follower of Christ or just now becoming serious about your walk with God, there will always be a dynamic connection here. We are Old Sinners, but through the gospel of Jesus Christ, our everlasting Father and the Holy Spirit we are on the path to becoming New Saints.

Signs, Part 1 | Old Sinners New Saints - Episode 10

Ten episodes in, and somehow we've trusted ourselves with a seven-part series. What could possibly go wrong? Welcome to Signs, a seven-part journey through the miracles of Jesus. Were these miracles simply incredible displays of power, or was Jesus revealing something much greater through them? In Part 1, Ben and I begin exploring Jesus’ first miracle, the meaning behind it, and what it reveals about the identity, authority, and purpose of Jesus Christ. As usual, expect Scripture, honest conversation, a few questionable observations, and two guys doing their best to make sense of things that matter eternally. Seven parts. Seven conversations. One Savior. And yes, we realize seven weeks is a long time to commit to anything. We’re ten episodes into running a podcast. Trust us, we understand commitment issues. 🤣 WANT THE FULL CINEMATIC EXPERIENCE? If you enjoy listening to Old Sinners New Saints, we’d love for you to experience the show the way we envisioned it. Murderer to Martyr, Part 3 | Old Sinners New Saints - Episode 9

From persecuting Christians to becoming one of the most influential figures in Christianity. Talk about a career change. In the final chapter of our Murderer to Martyr series, Ben and I bring the story of the Apostle Paul home. We’re talking about a man who went from hunting followers of Jesus to preaching the very Gospel he once tried to destroy. A man who faced imprisonment, beatings, shipwrecks, opposition, and enough trouble to make most of us reconsider our life choices. And yet, Paul kept going. What changed? What drove him? And what can a man who lived nearly 2,000 years ago teach a couple of old sinners trying to figure things out today? Along the way, we wrestle with faith, grace, suffering, redemption, and the uncomfortable reality that God has a habit of using the very people the rest of us might have written off. As usual, I ask questions, Ben brings the theology, and somehow we manage to keep the whole thing from going completely off the rails. Mostly. Whether you’ve been following along since Part One or you’re just joining us, this is a story worth hearing. Because Paul’s life isn’t simply about how dramatically a person can change. It’s about the God who makes that change possible. Welcome to Old Sinners New Saints. Two sinners. One Savior. A whole lot of conversations worth having. ⸻ THANK YOU FOR LISTENING! Murderer to Martyr, Part 2 | Old Sinners New Saints - Episode 8

Welcome back to Old Sinners New Saints! Episode 8 is here, and we’re diving into Part Two of our series, Murderer to Martyr. Last time, we started exploring a transformation that seems almost impossible: the journey from a life marked by darkness to one completely changed by faith. But transformation doesn’t always happen the way we expect. Sometimes God has to get our attention before we’re willing to listen. And sometimes the person we think is the least likely to change is exactly the person God has other plans for. In Part Two, Ben and I continue the conversation about faith, grace, redemption, and what happens when a person encounters something greater than themselves. Can a life really change that dramatically? Is anyone truly beyond redemption? And why does God have such a habit of choosing the people nobody else would pick? We have questions. Thankfully, God has a much better track record of answering them than we do. 🤣 Pull up a chair, grab some coffee, and join us for another conversation about imperfect people and a perfect God. We’re Old Sinners New Saints. And we’re all works in progress. P.S. Read your Bible, People! Want to see the full conversation? Join us on YouTube for the complete video episode! Murderer to Martyr, Part 1 | Old Sinners New Saints - Episode 7

Before he was Paul the Apostle, he was Saul. And let’s just say his résumé wasn’t exactly filled with community service. In Part 1 of Murderer to Martyr, Ben and I take a look at the man before the miracle. We explore Saul’s background, his upbringing, his religious convictions, and how a man so convinced he was serving God became one of the early Church’s greatest enemies. How does someone go from hunting Christians to becoming one of Christianity’s most influential voices? Well, that’s where things get interesting. Join us as we unpack the history, ask questions, get sidetracked (naturally), and begin exploring one of the most extraordinary transformations in Scripture. Because sometimes the person you least expect God to use is exactly the person He’s preparing. Oh yeah, did you forget God’s timing was perfect? 😉 P.S. Read your Bible, people! Digital Chains | Old Sinners New Saints - Episode 6

We carry them everywhere. In our pockets. On our desks. Beside our beds. Phones, laptops, screens, notifications. Technology has given us access to more information, entertainment, and connection than any generation before us. But what happens when the tools designed to help us begin demanding our attention instead? In Episode 6 of Old Sinners New Saints, Ben and I talk about the grip technology can have on our lives, and how constant distraction, endless scrolling, and digital noise can quietly pull our attention away from God, from the people in front of us, and from the life we’re actually living. Technology isn’t the enemy, but anything that constantly competes for our attention deserves to be examined. What has your attention? And what might you hear if you finally put the screen down? Also, a correction from our previous episode: Yes. I know. Fanta is not Fresca. I have been informed. The investigation is complete. My deepest apologies to both beverage communities. — Chris Want to experience the full visual version of Old Sinners New Saints? Lost My Way | Old Sinners New Saints - Episode 5

We all have moments when we lose our way. In this episode of Old Sinners New Saints, Ben and I talk about what happens when that distance is between us and Jesus, how we drift, what it feels like when the connection isn’t what it once was, and how we begin finding our way back. Sometimes the road back starts with simply realizing how far we’ve wandered. And a quick correction before the geography police come for me: yes, I know Turkey is not on the East Coast. I misspoke. Please extend grace to your geographically challenged co-host. 😂 P.S. Read your Bible, people! Join Old Sinners New Saints Community Support Old Sinners New Saints

Where You Stand | Old Sinners New Saints - Episode 4

Wherever you stand, start there. Maybe you’ve followed Jesus for most of your life. Maybe your faith feels strong. Maybe you’ve wandered farther away than you ever expected. Maybe you’re asking questions for the first time and you’re not even sure what you believe yet. Start there. You don’t need to wait until you know more, believe more, understand more, or have your life put back together. And if you’ve been walking with Jesus for years, you can still wake up today and choose to follow Him again. In Episode 4 of Old Sinners New Saints, Ben and I talk about meeting Jesus right where we are and taking the next step from where we actually stand, not where we think we’re supposed to be. Because wherever you stand today… is a good place to begin. The End | Old Sinners New Saints - Episode 3

What if Jesus returned today? Not when you finally got your life together. Not after you accomplished everything you wanted to accomplish. Today. Like... Today Today! In this episode of Old Sinners New Saints, Ben and I wrestle with that question. Not by trying to predict dates, decode every detail of Revelation, or map out exactly how the end will unfold, but by looking inward. What would the posture of your heart be if Jesus Christ returned right now? Would you be ready? Afraid? Excited? Would there be things you wish you had done differently? It’s a conversation about the return of Jesus, the condition of our hearts, and what thinking about “the end” might reveal about the way we’re living right now. Because maybe the most important question isn’t when He’s coming back. Maybe it’s who we’re becoming while we wait.
