Big Dating Energy

I’m new to Big Dating Energy and currently playing catch-up, but I’ve really been enjoying the ride so far. The show offers insightful, thoughtful takes on modern dating, and I especially appreciated being introduced to concepts like the burned haystack technique, which is actually what brought me here in the first place. The podcast strikes a great balance between being informative and entertaining, and it’s quickly become one of my go-to listens. That said, I did want to share one bit of feedback. In an episode featuring Busy Philipps (whom I absolutely love), there was a section about astrology that caught me off guard. As an Aquarius, I found some of the comments a little harsh and started to feel alienated during that part of the conversation. I know not everyone connects with every sign, but I felt like that particular segment crossed into unnecessary bashing. As a direct Aquarian who knows what she wants, I thought it was worth mentioning. It’s a great podcast with a lot to offer, and I’ll definitely keep listening, but I hope future discussions can be a bit more mindful of the diversity in your audience, astrological and otherwise. Disgusting remarks over the Charlie Kirk Assassination. If you, as a therapist, cannot express what happened to the young father of two children was evil to your audience, then you should be seeking a new line of work.

I absolutely loved the episode with Jeff and Libby who talked about eating disorders. I’m so glad there’s help out there in the world and she sounds like she really knows that she’s talking about.

Not a good show. I tried it after hearing him on Savage Love. I did not like it. The host should remember other people are listening, so not waste time: this show needs some structure. I’m not interested in listening to people talk aimlessly. He could also control his vocal fry, it’s unpleasant. He should also not ask guests to introduce themselves, that is rude. He is the host, so he should take the time and thought to introduce his guest. I see little of merit here.
