I still believe… but something's missing | The Real Saints Podcast Episode 47

Have you ever felt like your faith is still there… but the fire isn’t? You still believe. You still go to church. You still serve. But something feels mechanical — like you’re going through motions instead of walking with God. In this episode we talk honestly about a season many Christians quietly experience: spiritual apathy… compromise… and the uncomfortable space between what you say you believe and how you actually live. This isn’t condemnation — it’s a call back. Through personal reflection and Scripture, we walk through how believers drift, why the heart hardens, and how God restores joy when repentance becomes real again. What we cover • How Christians slowly lose passion without noticing • The difference between spiritual dryness and real repentance • Why hypocrisy often starts with numbness, not rebellion • How deep reflection exposes the heart • What it actually means to “return to your first love” Key Scriptures 📖 James 4:9-10 — Humble yourself and mourn over sin 📖 Ephesians 2:10 — You were created for prepared good works 📖 1 John 1:9 — Confession brings cleansing 📖 Matthew 16:23 — When our mind is on man, we hinder God 📖 2 Corinthians 7:10 — Godly grief vs worldly grief If you feel stuck… compromised… or spiritually numb — this episode is for you. God hasn’t moved. He hasn’t changed. But He is still calling you back. Return to Him. Fight the good fight. The Biggest Mistake Christians Make When Growing in Faith | The Real Saints Podcast Episode 46

In this episode of the Real Saints Podcast, we talk about something simple—but absolutely essential to the Christian walk: Bible study and Christian community. Whether you’re new to the faith, returning after a long season away, or a believer who’s been walking alone, this message is for you. God never designed us to grow in isolation. Using Romans 12 and Acts 2, we explore why the body of Christ needs every member, how weekly Bible study strengthens your faith, and why true spiritual growth happens in community — not alone. We’ll talk about: • Why Christians don’t thrive in isolation • How God designed the church as one body with many functions • What a real Bible study looks like (and why it’s not scary) • The power of accountability, confession, wisdom, and fellowship • How the early church lived — and how we should live today If you’ve been disconnected from church, unsure where to start, or longing for deeper faith, this episode will encourage you to take the next step. 👉 Find a local church. 👉 Join a Bible study. 👉 Walk with the body of Christ the way God intended. “And the Lord added to their number day by day those who were being saved.” — Acts 2:47 🎧 Listen, be encouraged, and share this episode with someone who needs this reminder. Honoring God as Father & Master | The Real Saints Podcast Episode 45

In this episode of the Real Saints Podcast, Carl reflects on what it truly means to honor God—not just in words, but in the way we live, love, and obey. Drawing from Malachi chapter 1, this conversation was born out of personal conviction and failure, examining how easily we can offer God “unworthy sacrifices” in our everyday lives—especially in our closest relationships. God reveals Himself as both Father and Master: infinitely loving and patient, yet holy, sovereign, and deserving of honor and reverence. This episode explores: • What it means to honor God as Father and Lord • How obedience flows from love, not obligation • Why God expects honor from His people—and how we often fall short • The role of grace through Jesus Christ when we fail • Practical, everyday ways believers can honor God in their conduct, words, and decisions Carl walks through Scripture, the Gospel, and real-life application, reminding us that honoring God isn’t optional—it’s the response of a life submitted to Him. While obedience is difficult, it always leads to peace, joy, and spiritual clarity. Whether you’re a new believer, a seasoned Christian, or someone still wrestling with faith, this episode is an invitation to examine your life honestly, repent where needed, and recommit to honoring God in all things.“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” — Jesus Thank you for tuning in to the Real Saints Podcast. How God Uses Each Person | The Real Saints Podcast Episode 44

In this week’s episode of the Real Saints Podcast, Carl Grande explores how God uniquely works in the lives of different people—and how His sovereign plans often unfold in ways we don’t expect.  Whether you’re a new believer, a seasoned Christian, or someone still exploring faith, this episode invites you to reflect on how God uses ordinary people for extraordinary purposes.  Drawing from Scripture, Carl walks through the stories of Moses and Saul, two very different men used by God in very different ways. From Moses’ self-doubt and resistance at the burning bush to Saul’s fear, insecurity, and eventual downfall, we’re reminded that God’s plans are not dependent on our confidence, strength, or personal qualifications.  This episode unpacks:  God’s sovereignty and divine purpose for every life How doubt, fear, and insecurity can delay obedience Why God’s Word is essential for clarity and direction How God uses imperfect people to accomplish His will What it means to trust God when His calling feels uncomfortable Ultimately, this episode is a reminder that alone we can do nothing—but with God, all things are possible.  If you’ve ever questioned your purpose, resisted God’s leading, or felt unqualified for what He may be calling you to, this episode offers biblical encouragement and perspective rooted in Scripture.  As always, if you have prayer requests, feel free to DM us on Instagram or email us—we’d be honored to pray with you.  🎙️ Next week: Honoring God as both King and Father.  Join the movement that starts with believers authentically living out our faith in the world. 🙌🏽 As Jesus said, “This is what I command you: Love one another.” John 15:17 Become a Real Saint today! https://linktr.ee/Realsaints   If you feel led to support: https://venmo.com/u/the_realsaints  Please leave a review if this podcast blesses you! 👇🏽

Take Up Your Mat | The Real Saints Podcast Episode 43

In this week’s episode of the Real Saints Podcast, Carl Grande dives into a powerful and convicting passage from John 5:1–9 — the story of Jesus healing the man who had been an invalid for 38 years by the pool of Bethesda.  This episode explores more than physical healing. It asks a deeper question Jesus posed to the man — and still asks us today: “Do you want to be healed?” Carl reflects on how often we, like the man by the pool, carry excuses, victim mentality, and negative self-talk into our walk with the Lord — even after Christ has set us free.  Why do we hesitate to respond to Jesus with simple obedience? Why do we explain ourselves instead of surrendering? Whether you’re new to Christianity, growing in your faith, or still exploring belief in Jesus, this episode offers encouragement and honest reflection on sanctification, humility, and the process of spiritual maturity.  You’ll be challenged to examine your own heart in the light of Scripture, the power of belief, and the grace of a sovereign God whose ways are not our ways (Isaiah 55:8). Most importantly, this episode reminds us of God’s mercy — that healing and transformation are not earned by perfect behavior or perfect words, but are given according to His will and for His glory.  Take a moment after listening to revisit John 5 and ask the Lord what He may be revealing to you. Whether you’re new to the faith, growing in your walk, or still searching, this episode invites you to pause, reflect, and choose humility. 🎧 Listen, be encouraged, and share this episode with someone who needs this reminder. Loving (Agapao) Your Sin | The Real Saints Podcast Episode 42

In this episode of the Real Saints Podcast, we take an honest and sobering look at what it really means when Scripture says that people “loved the darkness rather than the light.” Using John 3:16 and John 3:19, Carl unpacks the Greek word agapao (agape)—the same word used to describe God’s self-sacrificial, unconditional love—and reveals a hard truth many believers overlook: We don’t just struggle with sin.  We love it.  Jesus teaches that humanity is capable of agape love, but apart from Christ, we often aim that deepest loyalty, prioritization, and devotion toward darkness instead of God.  This episode explores why certain sins feel impossible to shake, why we defend and cling to them, and how Scripture exposes the true condition of the human heart.  This is not an episode meant to condemn—but to clarify, convict, and ultimately point us back to the only solution: the transforming work of the Holy Spirit. Whether you’re a new believer, a seasoned Christian, or someone still considering faith, this episode invites you to examine what you truly treasure—and to redirect your agape toward Christ.   What You’ll Hear in This Episode  • What agapao really means in the original Greek  • Why Jesus uses the same word for God’s love and humanity’s love of darkness  • How sin is more than weakness—it’s misplaced devotion  • Why willpower alone cannot defeat deeply rooted sin • How the Holy Spirit changes what we love  • What it looks like to redirect agape toward God, family, and neighbor   Key Scripture References  • John 3:16 • John 3:19  • John 14:15   Closing Encouragement  Only the Holy Spirit can make someone hate what they once loved—and love what they once ignored.  Let us agape Christ.  Let us agape our families and neighbors.  Let us not agape our sin.   Connect With Us If this episode encouraged or convicted you, please follow the podcast, leave a review on Apple Podcasts, and share it with someone who needs to hear it. Humility | The Real Saints Podcast Episode 41

Pride creeps in quietly. Life gets heavy. Stress builds. And before we know it, we’re no longer walking humbly with God—we’re moving in our own strength. In Episode 41 of the Real Saints Podcast, Carl Grande has an honest, Scripture-centered conversation about humility—what it looks like in real life, why we drift in and out of it, and how God faithfully calls us back. This episode explores: • The daily battle between the flesh and the Spirit • Why humility isn’t weakness—it’s surrender • What it truly means to “bend the knee” before God • How repentance, prayer, and obedience lead to forgiveness and healing Drawing from Psalm 103, 2 Chronicles 7:14, Galatians 5, and Ephesians 2, this episode is a reminder that God is patient, merciful, and always ready to meet us when we return to Him the right way—on His terms, not ours. Whether you’re new to the faith, growing in your walk, or still searching, this episode invites you to pause, reflect, and choose humility. 🎧 Listen, be encouraged, and share this episode with someone who needs this reminder.
