Welcome to the official podcast for "Lingala Kitoko" An online language courses by Jk29. Since 2011, he used to teach people the English language, but he put a halt to it and decided to venture out on new things. That's what pushed him to create "Lingala Kitoko" Lingala is an african language spoken mainly in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), the Republic of the Congo (Congo-brazza), the Central African Republic and as well as some part of the Republic of Angola. ◆About Jk29◆ Jk29 (Born Dieu-Merci Kambala Tshibatamba) in Kinshasa, DR Congo. But changed his first to Joseph Kambala Tshibatamba since 2013. He is better known worldwide by his stage name «JK29» also written as «Jk29» and his friends simply call him «JK» JK has two big brothers and a younger brother. Grew up in a Christian household where his father Tshibatamba Bantupela (a former ship captain of ONATRA, deceased in December 17th, 2022) was a pastor and his mother Brigitte Hélène Mufuta is a deaconess and a businesswoman. Both at the Soul winners community in Bandalungwa in Kinshasa. JK29's younger brother is a multitalents artist who goes by the name of Ej. In 2011, he started as a drummer, percussionist, and translator at their church in Pretoria, South Africa. In mid-2017, Ej and him had founded their own Record Label: «Kids from Downtown Kintambo Ent.» also written as «Kids from Downtown Kintambo Prod» The following year 2018, he released his first ever project "Satisfied Life" which is an EP of 7 tracks with a leading single "Matondo" Kids from Downtown Kintambo Prod has signed many artists, such as: Dmj Cash, Hosannel Juvi, Dicky Bro, Lydie K Banza, Patrick Lukusa, Jency Boy Mikishi, etc... Jk29 can speak 4 languages fluently, namely: English, Lingala, French, and German. And can understand Japanese, Italian, swahili and Spanish.
