    Inception: Belief

    Bee Curious, Not Judgment, al. Deep Thoughts on a Tuesday.  Pisces friend Kelly and our collective North Node, have both open the doors to their home and welcomed us inside. With Kelly, She and I just discussed the book, “Of Mice & Men” which said recoding will be out next week. While were setting up to chat about her birth chart, Her husband Kevin walked in the room & become a surprise guest. As a local Professor and Professional keynote speaker, Kevin didn’t shy away from the opportunity to share his knowledge and insights.  I think it ended up being a pretty cool collaboration of minds and has inspired me to lean in, and share mine even a little more at the end.     Take Me to Church

    “You can lead a horse to water, but you can’t make him drink..” Much like how you can lead a human to safety, but can’t make them trust. Objection! Leading the witnesses… Yes, yes I am. In this chat, we continue with my friend Kristen, As she introduces me to a AI conversationalist, who we ask questions another human may not be as equipped to answer.  Like- What is it about us all and our *Faith in doubt & mis-trust? …Oh, Just the millions of shared experiences and stories passed down through all generations of time intentionally to keep us in line, and believing in the power of the *narrative, over the power of our *USE of the narrative? Right, that. We’ll, I think it’s time to restore some balance in the “Forces of Good and Evil.” *If we truly want the parts we share in common to live throughout our eternities and bless those yet to come, Then I feel we must be open to update and upgrade our systems. Find ways & in things our faiths can Agree, rather than just support a singular agenda, one that keeps our faiths separate, rather than shared in respectful curiosity. Humanity is meant to be a SHARED agenda. Keep the personal details WITH yourself, live them- and there is no need to preach. Or fight, “Just Be.” We have nothing to fear, not AI or each other. As long as We as Humans are in control, of ourselves and our stories, going forward. We can leave some of our past (*cough war) behind. We are writing the code, and living it at the same time. I vote for a big line/verse now, for Peace. For our individual and collective Peace. What would that even look like, to you?  Not rhetorical.     Blue Pill : Red Pill

    Join us! Friend and colleague Kristin Bjorge and & I  had a fun discussion that I lovingly call, “Barbie does Philosophy.” This would not be the episode to have a drinking game for the word “like”… you’ll be drunk half way in. But like, I wasn’t so much focused on sounding intelligent, I was just being it.  So In the face of Mars in Virgo squaring right up on our South node, collectively in Virgo, as Leo retrogrades in Mercury… I’ll be an example of imperfect speech, but speaking anyway.  We all have thoughts and opinions, but do we feel we have the voice to say, Anything? OR do we have to perfectly agree, as not to “trigger”?    All I know is this triggers my wounds of feeling unintelligent, just because I sound like a valley girl… I heard John Mayer say in concert once, “I know I make funny faces when I’m singing and I’ve tried to work with it. I can either really control my face and sound like shit, or I can sing amazing like I do, and look a little crazy while doing it.’  I choose this crazy too… or the crazy chose me, either way. I hope you can feel me, and my heart *behind what I say. The self awareness of knowing you’re flawed and sharing your self anyway: Authentically and in the name of compassionate understanding? Well that to me is what I consider, like totally inspiring.  It is the 30th Anniversary of Clueless this weekend. Working with Stacie Dash years later, at the beginning of Covid… yeah, taught me that “like,” We’re all struggling with our own things, in the real world and in the mind movies we’re making. Some people’s lives are harder than others, but truly- are they? Think like John Mayer and J.Cole prophesize, We’re never fully happy till we just stop comparing ourselves and start really living life, & learning to love yourz. Yeah, that sounds like, totally crazy. “As if” -Peace out, Let love in

  5. The Deep End…

    The Deep End…

    Baby steps back into the podcast or make a splash right into the deep end? Not planned, a few friends and I were hanging in Michigan the day after a wedding, enjoying a pool party and philosophy broke out. I grabbed my phone and just let it flow.  This one is raw, slightly edited and very ADD.  I kinda love the randomness and atmosphere in the background. Feels more like real life, at least a glimpse into mine. One of my favorite movies is Moulin Rouge, & this feels like that to me in a way. If you’ve seen the film, it starts off with a bang! A complete whirlwind of Art. Loud music, Amazing makeup & costumes and so much dancing! It can feel a bit much at first, but the second Ewan McGregor starts his heart melting love melody on top of an Elephant… (you really need to see it if you haven’t yet, beautiful film)- In that moment, the vibe shifts. It’s calm, clear and purely genuine. So if this chaotic intro is too much for you, well I might be too… but I’d still encourage you to stretch beyond your typical expectations and give this and my next two episodes a try… They’re the more calm ones, Ones to make ya think. Special Thanks to my good friend Lillian for being the impromptu co-host! To Lucy who I’d just met the day before & jumped right in with her knowledge and validation. To Steff and Francois’ meet cute in the background and to the rest of the convos we shared in the name of authentic connection.
