OMG if you needed a new podcast filled with wisdom and raw experiences, look no further! Evie does an amazing job not only defining why women of color need to get paid what they are worth and provide amazing job searching skills, but it’s deeper than that. She works on building your self worth! In order to call in wealth we need to believe we can have it and she does just that. From her own personal experiences and being the walking testimony of what is possible, this woman will inspire you to not only take notes but to take action to reflect inward and change the trajectory of your life. Even though I’m not Latina, I’ve resonated so much to the struggles of being a first-gen female trying to break cycles in personal and career life. I loved the episode where Evie breaks down negotiating one’s salary into actionable steps and shares her own resources at the end. She also talks about how much of this is a mindset transformation, which is the biggest hurdle. I feel understood.
