Masters of the Air: A BingetownTV Podcast

…I discovered this group of podcasters with Witcher and have stuck with them for Silo, One Piece, and have gone back for their Last Kingdom and Peaky coverage. I’m leaving some out but ya get the idea. I like almost all the hosts (only one or two are meh) and these guys are good and earnest. Keep it up and great call diving into Masters! Btw, the Bob thing being secretly German was obvious from the jump. He looked down and away (deception) when talking Quinn and Bailey about his unit-getting separated, he wrote his date Euro style and was way too coached on the questions. My 2 cents but i saw that one coming a mile away. All the questions they asked (including who won World Series previous year) were all legit questions suspected spies were actually asked. Why am I talking about that here? B/c i happened to be writing this review while listening to them discuss ol fake American Bob.

If you haven’t watched “Band of Brothers” at this point, I’m not inclined to make a time investment.

Flabbergasted by these two characters and their Beavis and Butthead lounge show. Not being interested in the real history of the 100th Bomb Group puts them at an insurmountable disadvantage. They don’t have a clue about the nature of military service, the nature of air combat and pretty much anything related to WW II. It would also appear that the “Masters…” podcast is a platform to prattle endlessly about other broadcasts they make or stars that they swoon over. On a plus side the wide variety of podcasts about the WW II strategic bombing campaign on a human level is inspiring. If these two hosts got some folks interested and maybe those people care more about history then they accomplished something.

Absolutely love this podcast. Great group of friends!
