I like y’all but…corrections… Maurice got Lamar’s mother hooked on drugs which contributed to her erratic behavior. Also, y’all put more emphasis on Rochelle’s drug and alcohol abuse, and the fact that she stabbed Maurice, as cause for their deaths. Where is all the smoke for the abusive predator who was beating and choking Rochelle while also operating a vehicle??? What Rochelle did was largely self-defense. And all of this was largely due to Mama G centering herself and repeatedly putting her daughter in danger because she never dealt with her own trauma—and still hasn’t. Lastly, Lamar is annoying—not a villain. The villains are his father and grandmother.
Fun and informative

This is by far my favorite HOTD recap show . Love the humor , subtle references to modern politics and the perspectives are spot on . The book / show comparison at the end is interesting and validating .
May it never end

Loving the show! Chappell and Mari talking about anything makes my day and is a must-listen. I love the other guests, too. Would love to hear a complete recap of the Boondocks and the ‘Burbs starring KeKe Palmer. Keep up the funny and great work!
