The Hidden Reason You May Be Feeling Stuck

Send a text In this episode, we dive into the importance of the nervous system for “true healing” and honestly, this is where everything begins. Healing isn’t just about what you do it’s about the state your body is in while you are doing it. The Nervous System: The Master Regulator Your nervous system is constantly asking one core question: “Am I safe?” If the answer is no—even subconsciously—your body shifts into protection: •Muscles tighten •Fascia contracts •Digestion slows •Hormones shift •Healing gets put on hold This is the sympathetic state (fight, flight, or freeze). But true healing only happens in the parasympathetic state—when the body feels safe enough to: •Repair tissue •Regulate inflammation •Process emotions •Restore balance You can have the cleanest diet, the best supplements, the most advanced therapies but if your nervous system is dysregulated, the body won’t fully receive it. This is why people often feel stuck: I’m doing everything right, but nothing is changing. Because the body is still in defense mode, not healing mode.  If you're ready to bring more comfort into your daily rhythm, visit CozyEarth.com and use my code: Unapologetic for up to 20% off!  Support the show Stay Connected with Elizabeth Join the Fusion Community!  Sign Up for Elizabeth's Newsletter Website: www.fusionbodyworkandwellness.com Instagram:   @fusionbodyworkandwellness @theselfloveleap_ Find her latest on YouTube GET PATCHED! Step Outside the Middle: Try Something New!

Send us Fan Mail In this episode, I dive into another practice from my book 29 Days: The Self Love Leap.  I explore what it means to step outside your comfort zone -- not just emotionally or spiritually, but physically and nutritionally ... through the food you choose to put on your plate.   Growth doesn't happen in comfort. And neither does healing.  So many of us are stuck in the same food ruts -- eating the same processed, convenient, familiar foods over and over again.  Not because they nourish us .. but because they're predictable.  They feel safe. They're easy.  But what if the very thing keeping you stuck in your body .. is also the thing keeping you stuck in your life?  This episode is about a simple practical shift that you can make to feel better physically, nutritionally, emotionally, and spiritually!   And these practical wellness tips, when implemented, make it just a little bit easier to cultivate self-love! Liz is a senior yoga teacher with over a decade of experience, a yoga therapist in training, and a holistic health and wellness coach blending yoga, Pilates, barre, and fitness to support mental, emotional, and physical healing.
