How do you build a full volleyball team from scratch, starting with 2 players practising on a tiny patch of grass, and catapult them onto centre court to win gold at the Canadian National Championships? Well, Coach Sis Phant did just that ~ with Team Harmony, just north of Toronto. And it was no accident. As I interview each player, join me in discovering how the deliberate focus from Coach Sis on respect, kindness and connection developed a powerful loyalty that motivated them to bring their A game to every single touch of the ball.     Send us a text Megan Hunter is my final guest from Team Harmony ~ lucky last, as they say ~ simply because she was off playing volleyball for none other than Team Canada in Honduras. Take a moment and imagine having THAT on your resume. Now, take it one step further and picture in your mind the journey it would take to actually get that far in life. Since starting volleyball at the age of 9, she has always played with teams one year ~ and sometimes 2 years ~ older than she is. Two words: Truly remarkable.   Megan and Team Harmony have been on the podium for the last 3 Canadian National Championship tournaments, giving them a radiant collection of bronze, silver and gold medals. As for Megan herself, I can’t wait for you to be inspired by the motivation and wisdom AND gratitude that she carries around in her back pocket on a daily basis.     Send us a text Canadian…National…Champion. Wow. What a title. But, let’s take it one step further. Imagine a team of extraordinary athletes who went on to become # 1 in Canada. Now, just imagine being captain of that very same remarkable team. The sport? Volleyball. The team? Harmony, from just north of Toronto. The captain? Megan Chiang.  The most surprising part? She feels no pressure being captain of such an amazing line-up. Honestly? It says just as much about her teammates as it does about Megan’s own mindset.  In today’s interview, I love the dichotomy Megan brings with a natural flow. Well, for Roselle Mo, she thinks of an entire volleyball team ~ none other than the immensely talented Team Harmony, just north of Toronto. If you ask her teammates, 3 things stand out about Roselle: hard work, commitment, and determination. But at the core of all of this strength is a very huge and very warm heart.  Join me in discovering the mindset of this impressive young athlete who, according to her coaches and teammates, brings a special Midas touch to her gold medal team.     Send us a text I could tell from the start that Trinity Lam is the kind of person you’d want on your team ~ any team, since it is clear she brings her A-game to every single task. Trinity is the libero on Team Harmony…a very special volleyball team in Canada that you definitely want to know. She and her teammates shot to fame when they became the Canadian National Champions in 2023 and followed up as the silver medallists in 2024. As a goal-setting coach with the team during covid, I still remember when Trinity joined the team. She was excited to share her fitness goals, cycling her local streets north of Toronto, while following virtual routes in Spain and the Grand Canyon. In short…I knew we were in the company of someone who would absolutely be shooting for the stars. You couldn’t help but sit up and pay attention to Trinity Lam, straight out of the gate. Join me in discovering the determination and that “Going For It” attitude that makes this impressive young athlete very much belong on her gold medal team.
