    The Gospel of Good Vibes? And Why Your Suffering is Not Welcome in the Church

Many believers are still walking through chronic pain, trauma, loss, or unanswered prayers. But when that suffering doesn’t resolve quickly or turn into a clean testimony, it often makes people uneasy. And when they try to speak about it, the room often grows tense. The conversation shifts. The advice comes quickly. The discomfort is palpable. Lisa shares her own experience and unpacks two core reasons why she believes this happens. This isn’t an attack. It’s an invitation. If we cannot make room for suffering, we will never truly understand compassion. This isn’t criticism for the sake of it. Lisa doesn't claim to have an answer to fix this issue, but maybe it’s a call to maturity.     Beth Hanning: A Discarded Daughter story - Abandoned? Maybe. Redeemed? Absolutely!

    Send a text When Lisa and Beth met for the first time, it was obvious they were sisters—not only in Christ, but also in experiences of abandonment and redemption. In this episode, Beth shares her story of being kidnapped by family at a very young age and how the Lord brought healing and hope back into her life. Since they are both veteran home-educators, they discuss some of the ways their self-worth impacted their kids, their attitudes toward purpose-filled living and a mindset of "lack."  Today you'll hear how the Savior delivers from anger, loneliness and a provides clarity in our search for significant living.   Beth Hanning is an author and educator, who has instructed teens and provided professional development to teachers for over 20 years. She has a B.S. in Electrical Engineering and an M.S. in Instructional Design and Technology. She has initiated ten extensive youth programs including STEMWERX, a mobile education outreach program.
