    The “Bro Culture” of Self-Help with Monica Packer

    Have you ever tried to follow all the advice in a self-help book and wondered who actually has time to do all of this? I have. I even tried The Miracle Morning. It lasted about a week. In this After Hours conversation, Monica Packer and I get into what she calls the “bro culture” of self-help—and why so much of the advice women are given about habits, productivity, and personal growth doesn't necessarily take into account the lives women are actually living. Monica knows this territory well. She's a recovering perfectionist, the founder of About Progress, and the author of the newly released Sticky Habits.
