    114. The Moment You Leave Yourself

In this episode, we explore the subtle moment where self-trust is lost — the small internal negotiations that happen immediately after a signal arrives. Following our conversations on discernment and trusting yourself more than the hope, this episode examines the space between knowing and acting. The moment when something in you registers a truth, but before you've allowed that truth to matter. Many of us believe we lose ourselves in major life events, difficult relationships, or significant decisions. But more often, the disconnect begins much earlier. It begins in the quiet thoughts that soften what we saw, explain away what we felt, or postpone what we already know. The goal is learning to notice the moment you're about to leave yourself and creating enough space to return before the pattern completes itself. This episode is part of an ongoing series on discernment, self-trust, boundaries, and inner leadership, supporting you in recognising hesitation loops, strengthening your relationship with yourself, and making decisions from greater clarity. — 🔗 Rapid Reset for Hesitation Loops is a toolkit to return to your own inner knowing in moments that matter. 👉 https://www.paulaimmo.com/rapid-reset/ — Keywords: self-trust, hesitation loops, self-abandonment, intuition and decision making, discernment — The Insights Within is a podcast for founders navigating the gap between knowing and doing with a specific focus on fear of visibility, hesitation patterns, and the inner work that supports sustainable leadership.

    113. Why do we override what we already know?

In this episode, we continue the exploration of discernment, self-trust, and the quiet patterns that shape how we relate to others and to ourselves. Following the previous conversation on signals and discernment, this episode moves into the deeper question beneath it all: what happens when you already see the signal, but still don’t trust what you see? Many of us are not actually lacking clarity. We are caught in the space between knowing and acting, where hope, loyalty, and the desire to be seen can quietly override inner knowing. We wait for external validation, recognition, or certainty — something or someone outside of us to confirm what we already sense within. This episode explores how self-trust is not about certainty or perfection, but about staying in relationship with yourself even when outcomes are unclear. It examines the ways we outsource authority in relationships, collaborations, and leadership contexts, and what begins to shift when we stop doing that. At its core, this is a conversation about returning to yourself. Trusting yourself. About no longer waiting for someone else to make your clarity valid. And about what becomes possible when your own knowing becomes enough to stand on. This episode is part of an ongoing series on discernment, boundaries, and inner leadership, supporting you in recognising patterns, interrupting hesitation loops, and returning to your own clarity in real time. — 🔗 Rapid Reset for Hesitation Loops is a toolkit to return to your own inner knowing in moments that matter. 👉 https://www.paulaimmo.com/rapid-reset/ — Keywords: self-trust, discernment in relationships, intuition and decision making, overcoming self-doubt, inner leadership — The Insights Within is a podcast for founders navigating the gap between knowing and doing with a specific focus on fear of visibility, hesitation patterns, and the inner work that supports sustainable leadership.

    112. The Signals Were Always There — On Discernment, Hope and Knowing When to Walk Away

The signals were always there. In every relationship, collaboration, and partnership that didn't turn out the way you hoped, the signals were visible early. The joke made at your expense in a professional setting, framed as humour but landing as diminishment. The business proposal that looked equal on the surface but wasn't, when you looked at the actual structure. The person who kept showing up unprepared, again and again, while you kept finding reasons to explain it away. We don't miss signals because we're naive. We override them because we're hopeful. Loyal. Because we love the version of the relationship we believe it could become more than we're willing to see the one that actually exists. In this episode, I'm talking about discernment as a lived, embodied practice. The moment-to-moment bridge between your inner and outer world. The felt sense that lives in the body before it reaches the mind. The muscle that matures through every return to your own center. This comes from my own experience, and from the patterns I see consistently in the founders I work with. No tidy resolution. No framework with three steps. Just honest territory that I think many of us are navigating and not talking about nearly enough. If you've ever looked back at a situation and wondered how you missed it, this episode is for you. You didn't miss it. You saw it. And this is about learning to trust that seeing, earlier, before it costs you as much as it has. — 🔗 Rapid Reset for Hesitation Loops is a toolkit built to interrupt the loop at its entry point. 👉 https://www.paulaimmo.com/rapid-reset/ — Keywords: female founder intuition business, discernment women entrepreneurs, toxic collaboration female founder, trust your gut women in business, hesitation loop self-abandonment — The Insights Within is a podcast for founders navigating the gap between knowing and doing with a specific focus on fear of visibility, hesitation patterns, and the inner work that supports sustainable leadership.

    111. Energy First: The Door You Haven't Tried Yet

What if the thing standing between you and your next level isn't a strategy gap? But an energy gap? In this episode, I'm joined by Shilleen Wilson, money energetics coach and success breakthrough specialist, for a conversation that has been twenty years in the making. We studied at the same university, graduated the same day, never met, and found each other two decades later to discover we'd been working on the same pattern from completely different directions. Shilleen works with female founders who have hit an invisible income ceiling. I work with female founders who hesitate before visibility moments (pitches, launches, showing up publicly). What we've both found is this: the block isn't the strategy. It's the energy from which you act. We call it energy first. And in this conversation, we go into what that actually means for you as a founder: in your money, your visibility, and how you show up when the stakes feel high. This is an honest conversation between two coaches who arrived at the same place through different doors. And it might just be the door you haven't tried yet. — 🔗 Find Shilleen in Instagram @success_breakthrough_coaching 🔗 Shilleen's course: The Nervous System Money Reset — 🔗 Rapid Reset for Hesitation Loops is a toolkit built to interrupt the loop at its entry point. 👉 https://www.paulaimmo.com/rapid-reset/ — Keywords: money blocks female founder, money mindset women entrepreneurs, income ceiling women business, women entrepreneur visibility, energy mindset business growth — The Insights Within is a podcast for founders navigating the gap between knowing and doing with a specific focus on fear of visibility, hesitation patterns, and the inner work that supports sustainable leadership.

    110. Nothing Has Been Resolved, and Yet I'm Calm: A Client Story

What does real change actually look like from the inside? We don't talk about the dramatic breakthrough or the moment when everything finally falls into place. Rather the quieter, deeper shift when nothing on the outside has changed, and yet something fundamental has. In this episode, I'm joined by Janica, my former client, who said something to me at the beginning of 2026 that stopped me in my tracks: "Nothing has been resolved, and yet I'm calm." That sentence is everything. And it's why I knew this conversation needed to happen on the podcast. Janica shares what her inner world looked like a year ago: the self-sabotage, the reactivity, the exhaustion of being pulled by everything around her. And she shares what shifted through steady, honest inner work. The kind of work that doesn't always look like progress from the outside, until one day you realise you're a completely different person on the inside. We talk about: — What it actually feels like to stop abandoning yourself and start leading from within — The difference between genuine calm and resignation, avoidance, or toxic positivity — How staying grounded in relationships changed when she stopped being pulled into other people's emotions — Setting boundaries without force, without explaining, without reacting — How presence showed up unexpectedly in her body, and what that taught her about real connection — Trusting life even when uncertainty hasn't gone anywhere — And what she would say to any woman entrepreneur who is in a place where nothing feels clear yet This episode is a testimonial, but not the kind where everything gets fixed. It's the kind that tells the truth about what transformation actually looks like for female founders doing the real work. And that truth might be exactly what you need to hear today. — Rapid Reset for Hesitation Loops is a toolkit built to return you to yourself, to build trust in yourself that Janica talked about. 109. The Seven Things That Kept Me Playing Small — And What I Built to Answer Them

This episode is different from the arc that preceded it. Six episodes built the map — the loop, the pattern, the root, the moment before the decision, the case for interruption over analysis, the dismantling of readiness as a precondition. That arc was for your mind. This one is for something quieter than that. Because before the Rapid Reset for Hesitation Loops was a toolkit, it was a lived experience. These tools were not constructed from observation alone. They were developed through necessity — learned from coaches, refined through years of sitting inside the exact patterns they're designed to interrupt, and shaped by what actually worked when the stakes were real. In this episode, Paula names the seven patterns that kept her playing too small for too long: the spiral before exposure, the distorted comparison, the internal pressure that ran below the surface, the waiting for a readiness that never arrived on its own, the overwhelm that froze forward movement, the withdrawal when momentum built, and the abandonment mid-process that sometimes looked like a new idea and sometimes looked like quiet retreat. Each one is a tool in the kit. Each tool is the answer to a pattern she lived personally. This is an honest account of what it actually costs to leave yourself, repeatedly, and what becomes possible when you stop. Next week: Janica, a former client, shares what that shift looked like from the inside. Her words at the start of 2026 — nothing has been resolved, and yet I'm calm — are where that conversation begins. — Rapid Reset for Hesitation Loops is a toolkit built to interrupt the loop at its entry point. 👉 https://paulaimmo.myflodesk.com/rapidreset — Keywords: female founder self-sabotage patterns, playing small as an entrepreneur, fear of visibility women in business, hesitation before action founder, inner work female entrepreneur

    108. You Don’t Need to Feel Ready

Six episodes in, one question remains. The one the loop has been quietly building its case around since the beginning. What if you're just not ready yet? This episode is the direct dismantling of that. Readiness — as founders typically mean it — is not a state that arrives before action. It’s a guarantee of outcome felt in advance. And that guarantee isn’t available to anyone, at any level of preparation. What the loop calls readiness is, on close examination, a condition that can never be fully met. This episode names the three forms waiting takes: waiting for confidence, waiting for clarity, waiting for the right moment, and shows precisely why each one is the loop in disguise. Then it closes with what is actually required instead of a feeling, a resolved pattern, or ideal conditions. A practiced interruption, available at the entry point, faster than the distortion. In this episode: what readiness actually is, what acting without readiness actually means, and the invitation that closes the six episode arc. — Rapid Reset for Hesitation Loops is a toolkit built to interrupt the loop at its entry point. 👉 https://paulaimmo.myflodesk.com/rapidreset — Keywords: how to take action without confidence, waiting for the right moment entrepreneur, fear of visibility founder, overcome perfectionism in business, taking action without feeling ready — The Insights Within is a podcast for founders navigating the gap between knowing and doing with a specific focus on fear of visibility, hesitation patterns, and the inner work that supports sustainable leadership.
