This is where high-achieving women come when they’re ready to get real about the life behind their success - the parts they don't post about or talk about publicly. The conversations here aren’t just deep. They’re disruptive. They shake something loose. Shift something so powerful, you can’t go back to who you were before you pressed play. This is for the woman who’s ready to recalibrate. Because the success you really want—the kind that doesn’t cost you your peace, your mind, your marriage, or yourself—doesn’t come from doing more. It comes from becoming more of who you already are. shamiekadean.substack.com

Stop Dismissing What God Has Already Said

The solution you keep seeking is in the answer God already released. You just weren’t ready to receive it. And it’s costing you greatly—the sleepless nights, the unsettled feelings, and the business that’s draining you are a result of the answer you’re avoiding. I was in this same place two years ago. Not only did it land me in the hospital, it also had my bank account looking at me crazy. Stepping into my actual spiritual advisory call was scary. I avoided it for years. It meant dropping the safety of the offers I was hiding behind. It meant leading with the truth of my calling and centering my anointing. In addition, I had to step into a spotlight that once terrified me. No longer could I hide behind marketing, marriage, or rest. I had to fully own that people needed the very thing I’d been hiding—spiritual wisdom, prophetic insight, and divine guidance from God. The longer I hid behind my other offers, I lost financially and relationally. Most importantly, I was losing my ability to hear God clearly. And the people I was called to remained stagnant too. You’re reading this far because you’re in that space too. You’ve been avoiding what God has called you to do. And now there is the quiet resentment you feel when you watch others step out boldly in the exact thing you know you were built for. It’s the same exhaustion of forcing something to work while your spirit is starving. The inner turmoil of forcing a business model to work while actively disobeying the assignment God gave you is unbearable. In this video, I’m sharing the turning point—what it actually took to accept the truth, own it, and restore what was lost. If you’re looking for a space where hearing from God is priority and obeying His call is not optional, join us inside the Rested Wealth Collective. The answer you’ve been seeking has already been released. When you are someone who is used to leading, to producing, to performing, it is so hard to see the reality of what is actually going on beneath the surface. I am known for extracting edges, loosening lace fronts and lashes. You might want to grab some glue, because this is going to be one of those conversations. But I don’t just expose it and leave you hanging. The job is not to embarrass you; it is to bring to light a truth that is necessary for your transformation. The answer you’ve been seeking? It has already been released. Where you’ve been telling yourself that you need more clarity, or that you’re waiting on some other solution, or some other strategy—it’s already here. But you’ve been dismissing it because you weren’t ready to receive it. It’s the very thing you’ve been avoiding, even though you know deep down it is what you are supposed to be doing. I have to tell on myself first, because I am not someone who talks at you. I talk to you through what I have already lived and walked through. I have been praying for a strategy. When God called me out of marketing and told me it was time to close my old business and step fully into my role as a spiritual advisor to high-performing, high-profile, high-producing women, I did what so many of us do. The moment I asked, He released the answer. He even sent confirmation through clients who came and specifically asked for the exact thing at the investment level I had convinced myself nobody would pay for. So what did I do? I panicked. I tried to repackage. I rearranged my messaging, created a dozen different offers, and hid the actual assignment behind layers of strategy. And I kept praying for the answer. When you pray for an answer and then refuse to receive it, there is a cost. There are consequences. My consequence wasn’t just my bank account looking at me real crazy—it was burnout so severe it landed me in the hospital. Productive Procrastination is Real I was doing what I call productive procrastination. I was doing all the things that made me look busy and productive, while avoiding the one assignment I was actually called to execute. You will never be able to hear God clearly when you have already decided what you want Him to say. God told me four years ago that my next success strategy was spiritual. He told me I was called to be a spiritual advisor. But I said no. I kept teaching marketing, coaching on marriage, putting all these labels on myself to hide the truth of what I was carrying. Why? Because stepping into your true lane increases your visibility. It puts more eyes on you, and there is a part of your life where you’ve already been criticized, questioned, and diminished. You look at other people doing this work publicly, you see how they get attacked, and a part of you internalizes that fear. You pick apart their methods because it’s safer to judge their boldness than to walk in your own. You allow the voices of people you trust—people who don’t understand your specific calling—to pull you out of alignment. And worst of all, you stay in the very industry systems and hustle models that you were called to disrupt, simply because staying there feels more familiar than the isolation of blazing a new trail. You can’t rest in disobedience You can’t rest, not because you don’t know how to take a nap or enforce a boundary. You can’t rest because you know you are not in obedience. You are building up resentment toward yourself because you know you are called to bigger and greater, yet you are settling for a fraction of it. You feel a constant undercurrent of confusion—not just about your business, but about what to say and how to build—because God is not going to support you in building something He never told you to touch. And here is the hardest pill to swallow: Your disobedience costs the people assigned to you. There are women sitting in other containers, following coaches on paths God never intended for them to walk, simply because you are hiding behind a mask of busyness instead of standing in the anointing on your life. When I finally surrendered and stopped fighting the assignment, everything shifted. But I realized something crucial: I couldn’t do it alone. I needed a room where I could be held as a leader without having to perform. I needed a space where my vulnerability wasn’t violated, and where someone could speak directly to the giant inside of me while holding me accountable to God. That is why I created the highest tier of my community: The Rested Woman Reigns. Why you need Rested Woman Reigns I created it because leaders who operate from the front barely have a room where they can just be. They need a space where we have honest, unfiltered conversations, where we teach from the embodiment of losing something, rebuilding it with God, and refusing to adopt the hustle of the old paradigm. If you are in a season where you refuse to move without God, if you are done forcing strategies that drain your soul, I invite you to step into the Rest Centered Wealth Collective, or cross the threshold into The Rested Woman Reigns. When Breakthrough Is Happening for Everyone But You

When Breakthrough Is Happening for Everyone But You Have you ever prayed for or prophesied over someone and watched it happen quickly? Or given a client a strategy that worked almost immediately... but when it comes to your own life, everything feels like it’s moving in slow motion? The prophetic words seem to take forever to manifest. The prayers you prayed for everyone else seem to be on a completely different timeline when it comes to you. There is an odd paradox that seems to plague high-achieving women who have spiritual gifts that directly benefit the work they do with their clients. You can see it for them. You can speak life into them. You can help them recognize what God is doing in their lives. And then you find yourself sitting in a waiting season, wondering what you are missing. In today’s LIVE on Substack, I break down exactly why this happens especially for the high performing woman. When you upgrade to PAID, you’ll get the exact blueprint to break this cycle. You will not be instructed to pray harder or “just wait on God.” I’m breaking down the shift that happens when you have spent years seeing, speaking, and helping everyone else move forward... while your own life feels like it is moving in slow motion. If you are ready to stop guessing what you are missing and learn how to hear God clearly for your own life, upgrade to The Rested Wealth Collective This is a public episode. I Was Shocked To Learn Why Clients Bought From Me

After seeing a couple of posts about vanity metrics and what converts high-ticket clients that are easy to work with, I wanted to jump into the conversation. Because one thing I learned about burnout is that it’s not always from overworking. It is often a result of carrying people you’re not assigned to. But the way to attract clients that do not drain your energy is not focusing on vanity metrics, but understanding why they buy from YOU. When I did an analysis of my business, I was shocked to find out why my clients bought from me. Not just any clients, but the ones who made the work feel so effortless, it felt too good to be true. The ones I was excited to get on sessions with. But most of all, the ones who experienced transformation from our time together. So, I started with the question, “What made them buy from me?” I thought I would find answers about my marketing, methods, or messaging. Instead, I found something that shocked me. Application after application, the same thing kept showing up. It completely changed how I approach social media, who I attract, and the rate of my conversion. Most importantly, it is one of the primary reasons I am no longer exhausted when working with clients or running my business. You can have the same thing too. In this episode, you’ll hear: When vanity metrics matter for conversion What your best clients want from you How to get high-ticket clients to purchase from you P.S: For more information on how I can help you grow your business without burnout in a 1:1 capacity, my calendar is open to my private community here on Substack. Releasing Responsibility

As the oldest daughter, I was always responsible for something. I was thrust into responsibility long before I was ready. At the age of ten, I was helping with homework, dinner, and cleaning. If my siblings did not complete a task or chore, I was the often the one who was punished for “not watching” them. Subconsciously, a belief was created that I was responsible for the actions of others. What I didn’t realize at the time is that responsibility would become my identity. This identity would transfer into the way I ran my business. If a client did not get results, I blamed myself. I would sit on vacation with my family and could not put the laptop down, convinced that if I stopped checking in, the whole thing would crumble. Of course, there were times things needed to be tweaked to be more effective. However, I took full responsibility even when it was clear others were not doing what they needed to do. I lived by “The success and failure falls on my shoulders.” You can imagine what happens when you take the blame for everything. You carry the weight of the world on your shoulders even when you shouldn’t. It wasn’t until I released responsibility that I was able to have a business that could profit without my presence 24/7 and relationships that were no longer a burden but a blessing. I could take time away from the business without panicking. The practice that got me here didn’t start with delegation, hiring more people, or automating my tasks. Neither did it start with praying more. It started with a shift in my identity and creating the kind of safety in God that my body could actually feel, the kind that let me stop bracing for everything to fall apart the moment I stepped back. I call it the Stillness Sequence, a biblically backed and scientifically supported nervous system regulation practice that teaches your body it is safe to set the weight down. I walk you through exactly how that shift happened in the video. And when you're ready to feel that safety in your own body, not just understand it, this is the practice that gets you there: This is a public episode. Jabez: The Capacity To Carry

The most powerful part of Jabez’s story was not that he asked for his territory to be enlarged, but his refusal to let a label someone else gave him dictate his destiny. We made this story about the enlargement. We missed the whole point. Jabez’s story was about an identity shift. The enlargement was the result, not the point. His mother named him Ya’bets. Pain. Sorrow. Grief. Not because of who he was. Because of what she went through. But here’s what’s wild. Scripture says he was more honorable than his brothers. The Hebrew word is nikbad, from kabad, meaning weighty, heavy with glory, distinguished. God established who Jabez was before his mother ever named him. His honor wasn’t earned after the prayer. It was already there. His mother saw it. And she still named him pain. People can see exactly who you are and still name you something else because of their own experience. Jabez’s mother knew he was more honorable than his brothers. She recognized his value. But because of what she went through, she named him after her pain instead of his promise. That tells me something. People can recognize who you are and still assign you an identity based on what they experienced. Your mother. Your pastor. Your ex. Your business partner. They can see your value and still hand you a name that has nothing to do with who God called you to be. But you have the power to be who God has always said you are. When Jabez prayed, he wasn’t just asking for more land. He was asking God to expand his capacity, increase his influence, and make sure that what someone else called him never became what he produced in the earth. His identity had to shift first. And when your identity shifts, you start building the capacity to carry what God already assigned to you. You have to have the capacity to contain the enlargement. And you can’t do that when pain is taking up the space. You can’t build capacity for what God is expanding if you’re still building with an identity of pain. Pain fills the room where increase is supposed to go. The enlargement requires space and space requires an identity shift. I know this because I lived it. I built a seven-figure business. I walked away from all because of the calling and because I was building under an identity that was costing me my health, my family, and my peace. The revenue was real and so was the misalignment. I had to shift before I could carry what was next. The identity shifted. Now the capacity is being built. How often do we allow labels and limitations to be placed on us when we have the power to decide differently? You may not control how the story started. But you get to decide how the story ends. You’ve been asking God for enlargement. But the real question is whether you have the capacity to carry it. I teach the shift inside my paid community. Not the story. The framework. Not the inspiration. The rebuild. This is a public episode. If you'd like to discuss this with other subscribers or get access to bonus episodes, visit shamiekadean.substack.com/subscribe
