He Is Lord Over My Life

God is Lord over all creation, but have we truly made Him Lord over our lives? In this message, Bishop Mills reminds us that God desires more than outward expressions of faith. He wants an authentic relationship with us, one that is demonstrated through our actions, priorities, and commitment to serving Him. It's not enough to tell others we're saved, carry a Bible, or attend church if our lives don't reflect what we profess to believe. We may say that God comes first, but do our actions support that declaration? Too often, we give our time and attention to everything else and offer God whatever remains. We must make the priority the priority. Serving God requires intentionality. We must be willing to adjust our schedules, examine our attitudes, and make the effort to give Him the place He deserves in our lives. Money, gifts, and religious appearances cannot replace genuine devotion and obedience. God doesn't tell us He'll respond when He can fit us into His schedule. He tells us to call upon Him in the day of trouble, and He will deliver us. If God makes Himself available to us, shouldn't we be willing to make time for Him? Don't just tell people you love God. Live like you love Him. Let your actions demonstrate that He truly is Lord over your life. Give God your time, not your crumbs. Staying Close To God - Sis. Jackie Lopez

In Proverbs 3:1–7, we are reminded to trust in the Lord with all our hearts and not lean on our own understanding. In this message, Sis. Jackie encourages us to examine our relationship with God, where we place our trust, and whether we are truly allowing Him to direct our paths. God has proven Himself faithful in so many ways. When we look back over our lives, we can see that He has given us every reason to trust Him. Yet, how often do we turn to God only when we need something or after we've exhausted our own solutions? Staying close to God requires more than calling on Him in difficult moments. It means making Him our priority, spending time in His Word, communicating with Him through prayer and worship, and listening for His direction. As we remain connected to Him, He gives us the wisdom and understanding we need to make decisions and navigate life's challenges. God's direction may not always align with our desires, but His way is always best. We must be willing to listen, wait for His answers, and follow His guidance rather than relying on what we think we know. Although none of us are perfect, we should continually strive to become more like Jesus, allowing His love and wisdom to shape our hearts and actions. Church Anniversary 2026: Hell Can't Stop What Heaven Has Started - Apostle Wilma Ward-Hampton

When God establishes a purpose, no opposition from the enemy can cancel what He has ordained. In this message, Apostle Wilma Ward-Hampton reminds us that while the enemy may attack the process, he cannot cancel the promises of God. Just because God has called us to an assignment doesn't mean we won't encounter opposition. Sometimes the greatest resistance comes against the very thing God has called us to do. But we must not confuse the difficulty of the process with the defeat of the promise. Just because we're fighting doesn't mean we're losing. Jesus Christ is the foundation upon which the Church stands. Anything built without the right foundation is subject to collapse, but when Christ is at the center, we can stand firm through life's storms. The same God who was present at the beginning is still with us today. The enemy may attack the Church, but he cannot overthrow it. Our authority comes through our submission to God, and when Heaven speaks, the Church must stand in agreement with His Word. Just When I Need Him

In Luke 7:11–17, Jesus encounters a funeral procession in the city of Nain. A widow is preparing to bury her only son, but when Jesus arrives, what appeared to be the end becomes an opportunity for God to demonstrate His power. In “Just When I Need Him,” Bishop N. Mills reminds us that things happen when Jesus stops by. Jesus sees our pain, both the struggles others can recognize and the burdens we carry that no one else knows about. Even when we cannot understand or explain why certain things are happening, we can trust that God knows what we're facing and what we can bear. Faith requires us to trust what God says before we see the results. Our faith is an investment in our relationship with Him, and we must continue believing from the moment we ask until the answer manifests. Throughout Scripture, we see what happens when Jesus passes by. The blind receive sight, impossible situations change, and even death must yield to His authority. What people consider the end may simply be another phase in God's plan. No matter what we're going through, we cannot allow pride, discouragement, or uncertainty to keep us from calling on God. Even when life feels like it's draining the strength out of us, we can still cry out: “Jesus, I need You. Please stop by.” Keep trusting. Keep believing. Jesus Is Knocking At The Door

Revelation 3:14–22 addresses the church at Laodicea, a church that had become comfortable and self-satisfied, unaware of its true spiritual condition. In this message Elder Mills reminds us of the importance of examining our spiritual lives, recognizing where we need correction, and responding when Christ calls. It's easy to become so comfortable with what we have and where we are that we lose sight of our need for God. But no matter how much we possess or accomplish, without Him, we have nothing. We must be careful not to allow personal confidence, comfort, or complacency to distance us from Christ. There will always be areas of our lives that need attention. God's correction is not intended simply to punish us, but to draw us back into a right relationship with Him. We must be willing to take inventory of our spiritual condition and allow Him to fix whatever needs to be fixed. Jesus stands at the door and knocks, but we have to make the decision to open it. He will not force His way into our hearts. When we welcome Him in, we open ourselves to fellowship, peace, and the transforming work He desires to accomplish in our lives. We still have an opportunity to get it right. The question is: When Jesus is knocking at the door of your heart, how will you respond? The centurion understood his position, but more importantly, he understood who Jesus was. He didn't consider himself worthy for Jesus to come under his roof, yet he had enough faith to believe that Jesus didn't have to be physically present to heal his servant. All He had to do was speak a word. His actions also demonstrated humility, sincerity, compassion, and a willingness to operate outside of his normal circle. He showed concern for his servant and respect for people who were different from him. We must be careful not to place all of our trust—or limit all of our experiences—to the people within our own circles. If everyone around us has the same characteristics, experiences, and perspectives, how will we ever learn anything different? As believers, we are called to stand on our faith and what we hear from God. We may not be able to see everything we hope for or touch everything we desire, but we can trust the authority of God's Word. Sow into what you believe, remain humble, and let your actions be evidence of your faith. Sometimes, all you need is for God to speak a word. Living My Best Life

What does it really mean to live your best life? In this message, Elder Mills teaches reminds us that our best life has nothing to do with earthly gain. Our best life is found in serving God, developing a relationship with Him, growing in Christ, and allowing His Word and the Holy Spirit to lead and direct our lives. Christ is coming back. Although no one knows the day or the hour, believers are called to live with expectation—continuing the work God has given us, staying the course, and examining whether our steps are ordered by Him. Living the life God intends will not always feel good or be easy. Your best life will require work. As we wait, we must remain grounded in the Word. The Obstacle Might Be Me

In Jonah 1:1–16, Jonah receives clear instruction from God but chooses to go in the opposite direction. In this message, Bishop Mills challenges us to consider whether the obstacle standing between us and what God desires for our lives might sometimes be ourselves. God has called each of us to a purpose. He did not ask us to choose that purpose, and no matter how far we try to run, hide, overthink, or find another way, we cannot escape the presence of God. When we resist what He has called us to do, we may find that we have become the very obstacle standing in our own way. Rather than always questioning God, sometimes we need to question ourselves. Are we trusting Him? Are we taking ownership of our choices? Are we gaining strength from our struggles, or simply finding excuses for them? We cannot control everything that happens to us, but we can control how we respond. Trusting God can be one of the hardest parts of our walk as believers, but it is vital to our spiritual lives. When we trust Him, He will inform us, instruct us, lead us, and guide us—even through circumstances we never anticipated. Whatever purpose God has placed on your life, remain committed to Him. Face the fears and challenges that come with the journey, take ownership of yourself, and trust that God will never leave your side. Don’t allow yourself to become your own obstacle.
