    RC Cope "How to Fulfill the Law"

    Every Sunday this month our lessons will follow the theme "Marks Of Discipleship: Purpose In Christ" In this lesson, Evangelist RC Cope will look at discipleship in Matthew 5: 38-48. Jesus teaches that His kingdom calls for an inward transformation that goes beyond outward religious observance, requiring believers to live according to the true intent of God’s law. Rather than retaliating against evil or limiting love to those who love us, Christians are called to respond to wrongdoing with good, love their enemies, pray for those who persecute them, and reflect the impartial character of God. The ultimate goal is to become increasingly like our heavenly Father through Christ, pursuing the perfection and transformed heart that Jesus requires of those who belong to His kingdom.     RC Cope "He Must Increase"

    Every Sunday this month our lessons will follow the theme "Marks Of Discipleship: Purpose In Christ" In this lesson, Evangelist RC Cope will look at discipleship in John 3: 22-36. John the Baptist’s humility was in display when he declared, “He must increase, but I must decrease.” John teaches that spiritual success comes from God, our role is to faithfully serve and point others toward Christ rather than ourselves, and Jesus deserves complete supremacy because He came from heaven and gives eternal life. The ultimate call is to surrender ourselves fully to Christ, allowing Him to transform us so that Christ lives in us rather than self ruling us. We invite our listeners to join us in this biblical lesson and its application to our daily Christian lives.

    In this lesson, Brother Aubrey Ballard will discuss topics and themes found in 1 Thessalonians 4: 13-18. Christ's coming will be visible, audible, and final, rejecting the idea of a secret, pre-tribulation rapture. Christians are encouraged to find comfort in the promise that, whether living or dead, they will be with the Lord forever.     In this lesson, Brother Cohen Osburn will discuss the problem with evil. Evil entered the world through humanity's free will and rebellion against God. Scripture shows that God can use suffering and difficult circumstances to accomplish His purposes, strengthen His people, and ultimately bring about good. Christians are encouraged to trust God's plan, find comfort in Christ's suffering, and look forward to the day when God will remove all pain, sorrow, and death. A fruitful disciple develops Christ-like character, sacrificial love, obedience, and good works that bless others and glorify God. Christians are challenged to abide in Christ through His Word, faithful obedience, and purposeful prayer while allowing God to prune their lives so they can bear more fruit. John 14 reveals that our purpose in Christ is shaped by who Jesus is, where He has gone, and the pattern He has given us to follow. Because Christ is the way, truth, and life, His purpose becomes our purpose as we seek to glorify God, serve others, and continue His work in the world. Christians are challenged to live as citizens of heaven, follow Christ's example, and rely on prayer as they fulfill their purpose in Him.
