Audrey's Little Farm Show

Audrey Crawford

How do I start a garden? How do I plant vegetables in raised beds?  What vegetables should I plant by seed? How do I keep pests away?  What vegetables should I transplant? What vegetables are easiest to grow? And the biggest question of all, how do I learn to successfully grow a garden in my climate? If you are a gardener in California or a climate with hot summers, and mild winters with occasional freezing temperatures this show is for you.  I am a gardener in the Central Valley of California in Zone 9b and my goal for this show is to share actionable tips and advice that will help you grow food for you and your family no matter how much space you have. But the problem with gardening is that it varies from zone to zone and state to state. So I will be covering gardening tips that may apply to all but when it comes to specifics such as when to plant and what crops to grow during each season, it will be based on what works for us here in Zone 9, California.  My mission behind Audrey's Little Farm is to help everybody experience the joy and fulfillment that comes from gardening. It's not only about the success of your crops or the size of the harvest. It is about the journey, the skills built, and the happiness that all comes from being outdoors and tending to your garden! Follow along and learn how to grow your best garden yet!
