    Motherhood, Ministry, & M*lestation | Pastor Irene T. Magee | Between Me & You | Ieshia Danielle

⚠️ Trigger Warning: Please watch with care. ⚠️ Pastor Irene Magee shares how molestation, rejection, motherhood, ministry, and healing all shaped her journey to finding her worth. She opens up about how childhood sexual abuse, family separation, and deep feelings of guilt and rejection affected the way she saw herself for years, and how God slowly began restoring what trauma tried to steal. In this episode of Between Me and You, Irene talks honestly about growing up without the stability of her parents, being abused by people she trusted, and carrying the painful belief that her parents’ divorce was somehow her fault. She explains how those early experiences damaged her self-worth, made her value the idea of family at any cost, and shaped the way she approached love, relationships, and even her own body. Irene also shares how sexual abuse, rejection, and anger followed her into adulthood and into marriage. She reflects on the healing process, the shame she had to confront, and the deliverance she experienced as God began breaking soul ties, restoring intimacy, and teaching her how to receive love in a healthy way. This part of the conversation is deeply honest and offers real hope for women who have carried pain into places that were supposed to feel safe. This conversation also explores what it looked like to become a young wife, mother, and first lady while still carrying unresolved wounds. Irene talks about the pressure of trying to fit the mold of who people expected her to be, the judgment she faced from others, and how she had to learn to stop performing and start serving from an authentic place. She shares how God used her story to make her a different kind of first lady, one who leads with compassion instead of condemnation. We also talk about motherhood, generational pain, healing as a woman, and how finding your worth changes the way you raise your children. Irene speaks about her growth as a mother, the ways anger once affected her parenting, and how healing taught her to lead with more grace, wisdom, and intentionality. She also offers practical insight on marriage, finances, friendship, purpose, and what it looks like to keep becoming while carrying many roles at once. This episode is for the woman who has ever felt devalued, the mother trying to heal while still showing up for everybody else, the wife working through what past pain did to her view of love, and the person who has been carrying shame, rejection, or anger for far too long. Irene’s story is a reminder that trauma does not have to have the final say, and that God still knows how to restore worth, redeem pain, and bring healing to every broken place.Watch the full conversation, then click the link in the description to join our community. Avoiding It Is Costing You Everything | The Stewardship Series | Ieshia Danielle

Visit My Website and Grab What You Need : https://www.imieshiadanielle.com/shopHere's How Your Life Will Improve: 🌱 1. You’ll have more peace because you’ll stop letting unfinished things sit in your mind. A lot of what feels like anxiety is really the pressure of open loops and avoided tasks. Once you start facing things, your mind gets quieter and your peace starts coming back. 🌱 2. Your relationships can improve because you’ll stop letting fear write the conversation for you. When you name what you’re avoiding and handle it early, you give yourself a chance to have honest conversations instead of living under assumptions, tension, and imagined outcomes. 🌱 3. Your finances can improve because avoidance stops costing you money. When you finally look at the numbers, respond to what needs attention, and steward what you already have, you become more aware of debt, interest, due dates, late fees, and where your money is actually going. 🌱 4. You’ll become more intentional instead of emotional. Scheduling the hard things first helps you stop living in reaction mode and start moving like a real steward. You begin to handle responsibilities on purpose instead of letting them pile up and control your day. 🌱 5. You’ll be more available for what God is trying to do in your life. Sometimes the breakthrough, the clarity, or even the answered prayer is on the other side of a small act of obedience. When you stop avoiding and start owning, you make room for God to trust you with more. In this episode, I’m talking about avoidance, what it’s really costing you, and how to start taking practical steps toward peace, clarity, and stewardship. Sometimes the thing we keep putting off is not as overwhelming as we’ve made it in our minds, but avoiding it keeps pressure on us longer than necessary. When you begin to face what you’ve been avoiding, a few things start to shift. You have more peace because unfinished things are no longer sitting in the back of your mind. Your relationships can improve because fear is no longer writing the conversation for you. Your finances can improve because avoidance stops costing you money. You become more intentional instead of emotional because you start handling responsibilities on purpose. And you become more available for what God is trying to do in your life, because sometimes breakthrough is on the other side of a small act of obedience. In this video, I walk through three practical steps to help you break the cycle of avoidance: name it instead of nurturing it, set a timer for five minutes, and schedule the hard things first. Plus a bonus reminder: don’t avoid it, own it. #imieshiadanielle #howto #stewardship
