Edited review to say I really love the shows with Chris Cillizza, whatever they’re called. Absolutely not Matt’s fault, but I’ve fallen out of listening to the Sykes episodes bc he’s such a downer. Haven’t listened to the Bill scherr eps either bc he’s so argumentative. All to say I like the shows where Matt is interviewing other hacks. Looking forward to Bruce Mehlman (sic?) for the midterms.
Matt Lewis is probably the best centrist podcaster besides Charlie Sykes and Mike Murphy, but his occasional guest Bill Scherr(sic) just comes off as man yelling at clouds on every ep he’s on. Hope Matt considers weaning himself off the DMZ concept bc I think he needs to work on reviving true Reagan conservatism, not arguing with a liberal Karen.
