I break down why that “permission” detail matters… and why his own framing implicates something much bigger than “Byrne being Byrne.” 2) How this connects directly to Tina Peters I make a clear, evidence-based case for why the Tina Peters story is routinely misrepresented to the public — including what she was convicted for versus the myth that she’s in prison “for looking at election data.” I also explain why the way this case is being used is strategically useful for people who want Republicans to conclude:“It’s all rigged. Voting doesn’t matter.” That message is the poison. 3) The “Venezuela” narrative and why it’s being pushed now I read and dissect Emerald Robinson’s long “children’s book” thread about the supposedly “stopped” 2024 steal involving Serbia servers, anonymous Bitcoin payments, whistleblowers in luxury hotels, and a heroic CIA-adjacent trio. I’m not doing it to dunk for entertainment (though it’s absurd). I do it because it’s a live example of emotional manipulation dressed up as journalism — and I explain how that narrative is being used to push a much darker outcome: escalation toward war. 4) The Michigan parallel: “Stephanie Scott” and the repeatable pattern I flag what looks like the next attempted “martyr pipeline” in Michigan, where the story structure and cast of characters rhyme with Tina Peters in ways that should make every serious conservative stop and think. He’s an actual Nazi who blends white-supremacist ideology with pseudo-Christian language to radicalize young conservatives. The fallout has been immediate. Republican voter enthusiasm cratered in last week’s elections while the right spent its energy debating why an icon of the right, who frequently shares a stage with Trump, was platforming and promoting a Holocaust denier. OSS: Where It All Began I start with the Office of Strategic Services (OSS)—America’s original centralized intelligence agency. Founded by President Roosevelt on June 13, 1942, the OSS consolidated U.S. intelligence efforts under William “Wild Bill” Donovan, focusing on espionage, sabotage, and propaganda during World War II We explore how the OSS embraced a morally flexible playbook—cooperating with communists, Mafia figures, and partisans as needed. These pragmatic alliances often blurred ethical lines in the name of wartime victory. 2. The OSS’s Shadow: Darlan’s Mysterious Death One fascinating and murky episode I bring up is the assassination of Admiral François Darlan in December 1942.
