    33 - The Ghosts of Hortons Past (Season 61 Episode 56)

    A slew of Hortons have descended on Salem for the opening of the Dr. Tom Horton Free Clinic, and they have 60 years of stories to share! The amazing Julia Lennon (who forgot to buckle her seatbelt before getting on this rollercoaster ride) joins this week to break down part of the great DOOL 60th anniversary festivities. Holly & Tate are working on a documentary about the Horton family's contributions to University Hospital, and Marie & Julie give big "women who adopted the Grinch" energy while they reminisce about the convoluted family history. Meanwhile, Chad's brief hug with Cat has left Thomas hospitalized, and Jennifer is on her high horse & ready to come after Chad. And Mike tries to assure his son Jeremy that the people of Salem will eventually forgive him for his past, but Jeremy's not so sure... and frankly I don't think they should.     It's the spookiest night of the year for most folks, but it's business as usual for the citizens of Salem! Alice Marcondes joins Olivia this week to break down Season 61 Episode 45 - Chanel & Johnny are struggling to keep hope alive about their potential adoption, while the baby in question's true biological father is revealed! Cat is a cat, no surprise there, and EJ thinks it's hilarious that he can dress up as himself and be the scariest monster in Salem.  But is the scariest monster in Salem actually the Jekyll & Hyde elementary school teacher/former trafficker and abuser Jeremy Horton?! And can Stephanie unmask him for the villain he is, or will she be too busy unmasking herself as Anastasia Sands??     31 - Girl with Two Strands of Hair Seems Duplicitous (Season 61 Episode 32)

This week, Ben Tracy joins Olivia to talk Salem's drama from this DOOL episode that aired in early October 2025. Johnny & Chanel are reeling from receiving a "ridiculously risque" picture from Holly of all people, Holly's reeling from surviving a blackout (alcohol-induced), a blackout (electrical failure), and a dorm fire (her fault). Ari's over the drama and is ready to flirt it up with Theo, whose trauma is coming back in a major way upon return to Salem.     30 - "Don't Let the Door Hit You on the Butt on the Way Out" (Season 61 Episode 21)

    Teen drama is filling the days of our lives!  In this episode, Cullen Arbaugh joins Olivia to discover the connection between classical Greek theatre and Days of our Lives and dive into all the dramatic goings on of Salem. After secretly giving birth and leaving the baby at the firehouse, Sophia's lies are getting away from her. Meanwhile, Tate's decided he's going to kiss the truth out of her, and Brady tries to convince his son that's not a good strategy. Stay in school, kids. Everybody wants their time with Tesoro, Salem's most popular orphan! Or at least, they want time with his stroller. Holly's drama with Tate distracts Ari from her innernship application, and Marlena continues to cross personal and professional boundaries while searching for a diagnosis for her mystery illness. Belle Black's life is falling apart, Abe discovers smut in the town square, Paulina's trying to protect the Salem PD from being swindled by Artificial Intelligence, and Stephanie's astutely recommending a two-pronged approach for Titan/DiMera - a classic approach style! Season 61 seems sure to bring the drama, the turmoil, surprising bedfellows, and incredibly intricate descriptions of ink technology - so get excited!     Look it up! This podcast will make you laugh! For this episode, Olivia looped back to Season 60 Episode 185, a hilarious episode that we couldn't leave Season 60 without recapping. Her friends Miriam and Adam join to discuss this jam-packed morning in Salem. Love is in the air and pistachio milk is in the vegan-alternative scones. Alex discovers his girlfriends hot romance novel - he apparently reads all night and still doesn't make it through the manuscript, so I'd love to get a page count on One Stormy Night. EJ and Johnny have a blow up in the pub over EJ's shooting, Chad and Cat plan their hospital auction date (one of life's common experiences), and Xander nearly causes his wife Sarah's demise by not recognizing the extremely common signs of anaphylactic shock! But thankfully, secret former firefighter/EMT Javi wanders into the town square and jumps into action!
