    Do You Feel the Shift?

    The More I Know Him

    Can I Ask Father Why?

    Have you ever wanted to ask Father “Why?”… but stopped yourself because you were afraid you weren’t supposed to? Maybe you thought asking meant you didn’t trust Him. Maybe you were afraid your question would be disrespectful. Or maybe you’ve carried a “why” for years that you still don’t understand. In Season 7, Episode 9 of Through God’s Eyes, we continue our Knowing the Father series with: Can I Ask Father Why? The prophet Habakkuk had questions too. He looked at what was happening around him and asked God, “How long?” and “Why?” Father answered him—but the answer didn’t make everything easier. In fact, it brought Habakkuk more questions. And yet, Habakkuk stayed in the conversation. Maybe that’s something we need to remember. Sometimes asking why is evidence that you’re still talking to Him. Father already knows what’s in your heart. He knows the questions you’ve spoken and the ones you’ve been afraid to say out loud. So you don’t have to pretend that you understand when you don’t. You can bring Him your confusion. Your disappointment. Your hurt. Your questions. And you can remain close while you wait. Your question doesn’t have to become distance. Maybe knowing the Father isn’t reaching a place where we never ask Him why.     Do I Trust Father...When I Can't See The Outcome?

    What happens when you’ve been trusting Father… but suddenly you can’t see where any of this is going? Maybe you’ve been praying. Maybe you’ve been waiting. Maybe you were so sure things were going to work out one way… and now you’re lying awake wondering: “What if they don’t?” In this episode of Through God’s Eyes, we continue our Knowing the Father series with a question that becomes very real when life feels uncertain: Do I trust Father… when I can’t see the outcome? Sometimes we say, “Father, I trust You,” while quietly holding onto our own picture of how everything should turn out. We’ve already imagined the ending.We know which door we want to open.We know which prayer we want answered.We know how we want the story to go. But what happens when we can’t see what Father is doing? Maybe trust isn’t always being able to say: “I know exactly what Father is going to do.” Maybe sometimes trust sounds more like: “I don’t know what Father is going to do… but I know who Father is.” In this episode, we’re talking about fear, uncertainty, surrender, expectations, and learning to trust Father’s heart when we can’t see His hand. Because surrender doesn’t mean pretending you don’t care. Sometimes surrender is placing the very thing you care about most into Father’s hands and saying: “Father, this is what I want.     What If I Can't Feel Him?

    Have you ever heard someone say, “I could just feel the presence of God”… …and quietly wondered why you don’t? Maybe you’ve heard people describe powerful encounters with the Father—tears, peace, warmth, or an overwhelming awareness that He was near. And without realizing it, their experience became the standard you began using to measure your own relationship with Him. But what if your relationship with the Father was never supposed to look exactly like theirs? In this episode of Through God’s Eyes, we continue our Knowing the Father series with a question many believers may be hesitant to ask: What if I can’t feel Him? We’ll talk about the difference between the Father’s presence and our awareness of His presence, what happens when He seems quiet, and why we don’t have to manufacture a spiritual experience in order to know that He is near. I also share a deeply personal season from my own life when I cried out to Father through some of my darkest years and couldn’t understand His silence. It wasn’t until later that I could see what I couldn’t see while I was living through it: His silence had not meant His absence. You don’t have to chase someone else’s experience.     Are You Praying...or Just Saying Prayers

    Have you ever wondered if you're praying the “right” way? Maybe you've listened to someone else pray and thought, I don't sound like that. Maybe you've repeated the same words so many times that prayer has become a habit instead of a conversation. Or maybe no one ever really taught you how to pray, and you've been afraid to admit that you don't know what you're doing. In this episode of Through God's Eyes: Knowing the Father, we're talking about the difference between simply saying prayers and genuinely talking to your Father. Prayer doesn't require impressive words, religious language, or a performance. It requires honesty, relationship, and a heart willing to be transformed by the truth of His Word. And heartfelt prayer doesn't mean approaching the Father without reverence—reverence is always in place. Real relationship allows us to honor who He is while being honest about where we are.     When the Well Runs Dry

    Have you ever felt like your well has run dry? You’re still praying. You’re still showing up. You’re still doing what you know to do—but somehow, what used to flow just doesn’t work anymore. In Season 7, Episode 5 of Through God’s Eyes, we continue our Knowing the Father series with When the Well Runs Dry. What happens when we keep lowering our bucket into something that can no longer sustain us? Sometimes, without even realizing it, our relationship with the Father can shift from relationship to function. We’re still praying, serving, helping others, and doing things for God—but somewhere along the way, we may have stopped simply sitting with Him because we want to be with Him. Through the picture of an empty well, Jeremiah’s fountain of living water, and the woman Jesus met at the well, we’ll discover a deeper truth: The Father is not the empty well. He is the Source that never runs dry.
