    POLITalks @ TAMUSA is a podcast of the Political Scienceprogram at Texas A&M University - San Antonio.   E9: Dr. Andrea Bartoli, on Peacebuilding and ConflictResolution   In this episode we have as guest Dr. Andrea Bartoli, aglobally recognized scholar and practitioner in the field of peacebuilding and conflict resolution, and a specialist on the role of non-governmental organizations in peace processes. As a scholar, Dr. Bartoli has served as the Dean of the School of Diplomacy and International Relations at Seton HallUniversity, the Dean of the School for Conflict Analysis and Resolution at George Mason University, and as the founding chair of the Center for International Conflict Resolution (CICR) at the School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) at Columbia University. As a practitioner, he has been involved directly with the peace processes in Mozambique (1990-1992), Algeria (1995), South Sudan (2018-current), and in many other countries and regions of the world (Burma/Myanmar, East Timor, Colombia, Iraq, the African Great Lakes Regionetc.). Currently he serves as the Founding President of the Sant’Egidio Foundation for Peace and Dialogue (SFPD), is a Senior Research Scholar and leads the Cooperative Nuclear Disarmament and Sustainability Initiative (CNDSI)at Columbia University, and is a Senior Fellow at the Center for Peacemaking Practice at the Carter School at George Mason University – which are just a few of his ongoing positions and responsibilities.     E6: Dr Mark Rozell, and the Unilateral Powers of the President

    Episode 6 of the POLITalks @ TAMUSA podcast   In this episode we have as guest one the foremost scholars inthe field of American politics, Dr. Mark Rozell. Author of fourteen books, and editor or coeditor of over twenty more, Dr. Rozell is recognized globally as an authority on issues related to the unilateral powers of the US president, whilealso being a widely sought opinion leader on topics related to Southern politics, and to religion and politics in America. As an active teacher and academic leader, Dr. Rozell also serves as the Founding Dean of the Schar School of Policy and Government at George Mason University, and as the Ruth D. and John T. Hazel Faculty Chair in Public Policy at the same institution.
