Send us Fan Mail What happens when, despite doing everything you believe you're supposed to do, you realize that what your child needs most is something you were never taught how to offer? In this conversation, we talk about a journey of learning emotional regulation, why this skill is so important for both students and parents, and why supporting a child's emotional well-being may sometimes require us to look at—and regulate—ourselves first. My guest, Madhuri Garigipati, is a certified life coach founder of Path2Courage. Grace Tallman in Can Grief and Joy Coexist?

Send us Fan Mail Grief is one of the few experiences that every human being will encounter. Yet, despite how universal it is, many of us feel completely unprepared when loss enters our lives. We don't always know how to process it, how to support others through it, or how to find our way back to joy without feeling guilty. In this conversation, we talk about the baby blues and all other many shapes of grief—not only the loss of a loved one, but also the grief that accompanies major life transitions, changes in identity, illness, and the expectations we once held for our lives. My guest, Grace Tallman, has dedicated her life to changing that scene. She is a registered nurse, certified grief counselor, mental health advocate, and author whose work beautifully bridges clinical expertise with profound personal experience.  After navigating her own journey through postpartum depression, she courageously shared her story in her memoir, The Birds Still Sing: My Journey of Resilience Through Postpartum Depression, helping break the silence surrounding maternal mental health. Her latest book, Stronger: Stories of Grief and Resilience, brings together the voices of 24 individuals who have experienced many different forms of loss, reminding us that while grief is deeply personal, none of us has to walk through it alone. This conversation is a gentle reminder that grief and joy are not opposites. They can coexist. And often, it is through our deepest pain that we discover our greatest capacity for compassion, connection, and purpose. Let’s dive in, shall we? Lisa Johnson Shares the Green Flags of Healthy Relationships

Send us Fan Mail Healthy relationships don't happen by accident. They are built on trust, respect, honest communication, and the freedom for both people to be fully themselves. Unfortunately, not every relationship is built on those foundations. Sometimes, unhealthy dynamics develop so gradually that we don't recognize the warning signs until we're deeply entangled. And when children are involved, the stakes become even higher. In this conversation, we explore why communication is the foundation of every healthy relationship, the red flags that can signal emotional abuse or coercive control, and the green flags that create safety, trust, and mutual respect. We also talk about the importance of modeling healthy relationships for our children. My guest, Lisa Johnson, is a high-conflict divorce strategist, certified domestic violence advocate, and educator. Her own journey through a lengthy and emotionally exhausting divorce transformed her into a passionate advocate for others navigating similar circumstances as the co-founder of the platform Been There Got Out. But what struck me most about our conversation is Lisa's deep understanding of relationships. Whether you're in a relationship, supporting someone who is, or simply want to become a better communicator or a better partner, I believe you'll find wisdom, hope, and practical insights in this episode. Amanda Sproles on The Wisdom of the Body: A Somatic Path to Healing

Send us Fan Mail Have you ever noticed that understanding something intellectually doesn't always create change? We can read the books, listen to the podcasts, and know exactly what we "should" do, yet still find ourselves repeating the same patterns, reacting in the same ways, and feeling stuck in the same beliefs. What if the missing piece isn't in the mind at all? In our conversation, we explore what somatic healing actually is, the difference between who we are and the thoughts that pass through our minds, how limiting beliefs become embedded in our nervous systems, and practical ways to begin creating lasting change. We also discuss several somatic modalities and why healing often requires more than simply changing our mindset. My guest, Amanda Sproles, is a trauma-sensitive Somatic Coach who helps people reconnect with the wisdom of their bodies so they can release limiting patterns, heal from the past, and create lives rooted in greater presence, purpose, and self-trust.  If you've ever felt trapped by old stories, recurring emotional patterns, or the belief that you're somehow not enough, this episode is for you.
