    Gospel 16 - Having A Real Ghoul's Ball

In the latest episode of the Clergy Talk Podcast, hosted by Sister Ash, we welcome back PHANTASM/GHOUL’S BALL producer, Vita DeVoid—this time as a guest instead of a co-host! As we gear up for the third anniversary of Ghoul’s Ball, a series of small fan parties created by passionate fans of the band Ghost, we discuss how Vita inherited this beloved event from the ministry several years ago. As a seasoned event producer, she has taken Ghoul's Ball to new heights, thanks to the dedication and combined experience of her talented team. Vita highlights the key unique factors that set her events apart from other Ghost fan parties. While there have been a few international gatherings in the UK, Ghoul’s Ball primarily remains rooted in Hollywood, California. Join us as we delve into the essential roles of fan and record label involvement in these unique celebrations, with Vita stating an emphasis on how The Clergy is always watching. Sister Ash shares a memorable moment from a past Ghoul’s Ball where she witnessed a hilarious encounter with Vita and the congregation involving silly-string bukkake. Vita also reveals why she often bursts into tears after each fan party, highlighting the deep emotional connections formed during these events.  Follow the blasphemous shenanigans on IG @ghoulsball @phantasmevents & @vitadevoid  Don't miss this entertaining episode available on YouTube, Spotify, and Apple Podcasts.  Follow us on IG: http://www.instagram.com/clergytalk  Follow us on Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/3uwqkwq5NiiMBhxZVcR58Q?si=KRIU2auNSF6gN55aQvJGhQ  Follow us on Apple Podcasts: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/clergy-talk-podcast/id1739012397  Music: Holeway Studios  Artwork: SLD_art_comics

    Gospel 11 - Jesus Unfollower and Non-Believers

In this special episode of Clergy Talk, hosts Sister Ash and Sister Bella welcome two extraordinary guests for a thought-provoking collaboration. Ashlee from Macabre Maidens Metalcast and Kevin from the Jesus Unfollower Podcast and online community join the conversation for our first deep dive into religious discourse.Despite our nun-themed podcast, we've surprisingly waited until now to tackle such a poignant topic. Together, we explore Sister Bella, Ashlee, and Kevin’s religious backgrounds and the pivotal moments that led them to leave their respective faith systems and churches. We delve into the subjects of religious trauma, faith-based guilt and fear, and the liberating experience of living without the constraints of organized religion.Kevin also sheds light on his vibrant online community of atheists, agnostics, and fellow Jesus unfollowers, offering a supportive space for those navigating life post-religion. And for a touch of humor, we wrap up our discussion with some surprisingly risqué Bible verses.Whether you're post-religion or seeking a community of like-minded individuals, this episode is a must-listen. Tune in for an honest, heartfelt, and occasionally humorous conversation about finding freedom and community beyond faith.
