The Ravages of Sin (1 John 3:4-10) - Pastor Brent Stille

Sin rarely looks dangerous at first. It looks like a warm campfire, and the world keeps inviting us to pull up a chair. In this message from 1 John 3:4–10, Pastor Brent Stille gives six reasons believers should hate sin: it rejects God's righteous standard, devalues the sacrifice of Christ, reveals a heart unwilling to walk with Him, shows allegiance to the enemy, violates the new nature God plants in His children, and erases the difference between His people and the world. John is testing the direction of a life, since no believer reaches sinless perfection here. If you've already felt what sin costs, the Father is waiting to welcome you home.

The Ministry of Maturity (Colossians 1:28-29) - Missionary Daniel Smitley

What will your life be remembered for when it is finished? Paul answers that question in two verses of Colossians. In this message on Colossians 1:28-29, Daniel Smitley reveals the message Paul proclaimed, the means he used in warning and teaching with all wisdom, as well as the motive driving Paul's mission of presenting everyone mature in Christ. The labor is real, involving toil and struggle, yet Paul locates the strength for it in Christ working powerfully within him. Ordinary believers are called to the same work, in the same power.

Antichrists Among Us (1 John 2:18-27) - Pastor Brent Stille

Every church has people who know the language, sing the songs, and then disappear. The apostle John writes about that reality in 1 John 2:18-27, and he startlingly calls them antichrists. John applies the term to anyone who stands in the place of the true Christ by denying who He is, and he warns that such people often rise up from within the assembly itself. Pastor Brent Stille walks through why getting Jesus wrong corrupts everything else, what a departure from a Bible-preaching church can reveal about a heart, and how a deep knowledge of Scripture paired with sensitivity to the indwelling Holy Spirit protects a congregation

John writes that those who love the world system can't love god. Instead, they hate God and pursue what the world offers. In this message, Pastor Brent Stille shows us the destructive power of sin while pointing us to satisfaction in Christ.
