    What's at the root of your dating issues? For me, it's a mixture of being mishandled and improperly taught. But, in this episode we have the opportunity to unpack the events of the past while learning from our mistakes and being held accountable for how we do relationships moving forward. When you heal the root, you change the fruit. So let's do it sis. Listen in as I discuss my dating experiences and the things that God has shown me in this season of singleness.     Sometimes the calling on your life isn't always as cookie cutter, seemingly easy, financially or emotionally stable, fun or socially acceptable as we want it to be. Sometimes the people we love the most can't even join us on the journey. It can be hard to trust God, it can be hard to see it through all the way until the end but one thing I know for sure is that God keeps his promises. Let's unpack my own personal journey from Chicago, to North Carolina, back to Chicago two years later. Coming back to Chicago has been hard, but at the end of the day, I'll trust the man with the plan and after listening to this episode, it'll be time for you to make your choice too!

But when you pursue the desires of your flesh, you rob him of the opportunity to show up for you. Here’s the thing - your flesh is selfish and will always pursue instant gratification. But when you allow God to work the fruits of the spirit within you, you will have a joy and a peace like no other. Let’s talk about my recent purchase of my first car and how God worked through me his fruits of the spirit to BLOW MY MIND!

I mean honestly, if I could somehow take back all the times I said “I can’t wait to grow up”, I’d do it right this second because chile this ain’t it and I know I’m not the only one desperately looking for a break from the responsibilities of everyday life. From having a love life, to parenting, to working on my inner being sometimes life just becomes A LOT. When I started this podcast, I vowed to always be real with the y’all and because I believe this is a safe space, I’m going to just be honest with y’all about how I’m feeling and what’s been going on. So, let’s unpack the reality that being intentional about walking with God is not always as easy and cookie-cutter as it seems!
