Well, I love shopping because I do find it fun to go out on a shopping trip. I like wandering around shopping malls and trying on various kinds of clothes with my friends. I may end up buying nothing, but shopping with friends makes me feel happy. It can always elevate my mood. 💰 理性消費派 Actually, I don’t like to go shopping very often. First of all, I think we should spend our earnings carefully, so we should spend our money on something we really need, such as daily necessities. Otherwise, shopping will be a waste of time and money. But once in a while, I will go window shopping because I cannot afford all of those fancy products. ✨ B. LANGUAGE FOCUS｜學習焦點1. end up + V-ing …表示「最後竟然……」、「結果最後……」，常用來描述事情的最終結果。 • I may end up buying nothing. • We ended up going nowhere. 💡 原本打算去購物，結果什麼都沒買？這時就能用 end up buying nothing，自然又實用！ 2. cannot afford …表示「負擔不起……」，可以用來談購物預算、生活開銷等。 • I cannot afford all of those fancy products. • Many people cannot afford the rent. 💡 想表達「這個東西太貴，我買不起」，就可以使用 cannot afford。 📚 C.
