The Children of Children’s is hosted by 17-year-old Lex Stolle and focuses on stories from the Aflac Cancer and Blood Disorders Center of Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. Tune in the first Sunday of each month at 1PM to hear the inspirational stories of the Unsung Heroes of Children's, as well as current and former patients- all from the unique perspective of a former patient and teenager!

    Teenager Joseph Alderson and his mom Barbee. He was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia in August of last year. Dr Billy Holcombe – a Pediatric Neuropsychologist at the Aflac Cancer & Blood Disorders Center.

    Lex visits with Kristin Crespo, who has gone from being an Aflac Cancer Center patient, to an intern at Children’s, to now holding a full-time position as a Foundation Program Coordinator at the very hospital that treated her! Plus, the big way Lex is coming through to benefit the WSB Care-a-thon!

    Host Lex Stolle speaks with Nicolas Leanardo, a 19-year-old with Ewing Sarcoma. Nicolas rang the bell this past Friday and will be a sophomore at Auburn this fall! Lex is also joined by Unsung Hero Jennifer Carnahan from Aflac, Inc. who has been the Ambassador for the Georgia North Market since 2010.

    Host Lex Stolle speaks with Donna and Lamar Cochran of The Ansley Foundation. Being diagnosed with Neuroblastoma before 3 years old presented challenges for their daughter, but young Ansley was determined to never let cancer slow her down. Ansley lived life with cancer for 19 years with such grace, right up until her passing at 21 years young. And meet Jalen Alexander, 14 year old cancer survivor. At 12, he was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Hear his inspiring story.
