Right on Rangers LIVE!

Austin Beckman

Right on Rangers is where Rangers fans ride the season in real time. The LIVE shows are the heartbeat. Big wins, ugly losses, bullpen chaos, breakout heaters, trade rumors, roster debates, and the takes that come with actually caring about this team. Sometimes those takes get hot. That’s part of watching 162 with people who are invested. But the reaction still has receipts. We use stats, film, history, roster context, and what’s happening on the field to figure out what the game actually revealed. Between LIVE shows, we go deeper on the players, decisions, stories, and moments shaping Texas baseball. Rangers first, always. When the calendar turns, the Cowboys, Longhorns, Mavericks, and the biggest Texas sports stories get their run too. If you want sterile box-score recaps, this probably isn’t your show. If you want passionate Rangers talk with actual baseball underneath it, welcome in.

Rangers Manage 2 Hits as Brewers Cruise 6-1

Logan Henderson held Texas to one hit over seven innings as Milwaukee beat the Rangers 6-1, handing Texas a third straight loss and leaving the club two games behind Houston. Danny Jansen’s solo homer was the only damage against Henderson, while Milwaukee piled up 14 hits.  Austin gets into why another dead offensive night makes the smaller managerial debates feel secondary, the Brewers’ pressure game versus the identity Texas said it wanted, Cody Bradford’s long-term role, Jack Leiter’s new biceps setback, September roster decisions, and what Henderson’s emergence says about the Rangers’ ability to develop top-of-the-rotation pitching. Then it’s Cal Quantrill and Saturday’s response game. Leiter is being shut down for a few days after experiencing right biceps soreness during his latest rehab outing.  Chapters / Timestamps (00:00) - Rangers Held to Two Hits in a 6-1 Loss (08:27) - Bradford, Skip and the Offense (15:00) - Offseason Reset and Roster Decisions (20:08) - Milwaukee’s Identity vs. Texas’ Margin Problem (27:22) - Carter, Baserunning and Why Texas Won’t Run (32:41) - September Call-Ups and Leiter’s Setback (40:35) - Henderson and the Rangers’ Pitching Development (44:36) - Milwaukee’s 14-Hit Formula and the Power Debate (51:58) - Houston Pulls Away and Saturday’s Quantrill Preview (58:37) - Final Takeaways and the Weekend Response Read the full transcript Watch the full RoR LIVE replay ★ Support this podcast ★
