    Cutthroat Conundrum, Cervelo Aspero Proclamation, Thunder Burt Dilemma and Mohican 100 Preview

    Welcome to episode three of the freshest, fastest and flyest cycling podcast of 2024, hosted by Michael Leach and Jesse Smith.   In today’s episode Michael and Jesse will talk about the Mohican 100, exploring Jesse’s new fueling and nutrition strategy for this NUE Series race—we’re talking glucose and fructose folks. We’ll also get into the weeds of Michael’s Cutthroat conundrum, a messy challenge made more confusing by the Cutthroat’s post mount brake design. Michael and Jesse discuss a dilemma facing many riders, spend money upgrading an outdated bike that you love, or get something new, fresh and updated—often a steep ask without breaking the bank.    Lastly, we’ll pick Jesse’s brain on the new Cervelo Aspero (is this the gravel bike you should buy?!) and Jesse makes a bold proclimation now that he’s had some time in saddle of the Aspero.
