Episode 120 - "Tchaikovsky, Creativity and the Hidden Inner Life of the Artist” with Chris Nielsen

What if the experiences that make the least sense in our lives are the ones that invite us to ask the deepest questions? In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Chris Nielsen, best-selling author, former classical ballet dancer, cultural communication specialist, holistic healer and self-described "life researcher" for one of the most unconventional and thought-provoking conversations I've had about identity, purpose and the search for meaning. Chris shares how a life surrounded by art, culture, discipline and achievement eventually led her somewhere completely unexpected: regression therapy. Through years of exploring current- and past-life regression, Chris came to understand her experiences through the belief that she had lived previously as composer Pyotr Ilyich Tchaikovsky, a discovery she says helped her reinterpret everything from her childhood connection to ballet and music to deeper emotional patterns within her life. But this conversation isn't simply about who Chris believes she may have been. It's about why we search for meaning in the first place. Together, we explore Chris's understanding of regression therapy, why she believes healing matters more than simply uncovering a story and the questions that have driven her to examine the patterns, relationships, pain, love and seemingly inexplicable moments that shape a human life. Chris also opens up about the vulnerability of sharing such deeply personal beliefs publicly through her book Being Pyotr Ilyich, the six-year journey to bring it into the world and why she ultimately felt that what she had discovered was something she needed to share with others. Episode 119 - "Do You Want To Be The Hero Of Your Own Story?" with Kate Markland

What happens when one of the most painful chapters of your life becomes the beginning of a story you never imagined writing? In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Kate Markland, former physiotherapist and creator of StoryQuest, for an incredibly personal conversation about motherhood, storytelling, creativity and the fundamental human need to feel heard. Kate's journey began during a court-ordered separation from her son, Gabriel, when their relationship was reduced to just one hour of FaceTime each week. In the middle of an experience filled with grief and uncertainty, they turned to storiea and one spontaneous question changed everything: "Do you want to be the hero of your own story?" What began as a deeply personal way for a mother and son to remain connected grew into the Adventures of Gabriel book series, workshops in schools, and eventually StoryQuest: a movement centred on giving children the confidence and freedom to become authors of their own stories. But this conversation goes much deeper than writing. Kate reflects on her childhood dream of figure skating and the uninhibited creativity she once felt on the ice, her 20-year career as a physiotherapist where she learned that "the answer always lay in somebody's story," and the unexpected way those seemingly disconnected chapters of her life eventually came together. We explore why children can become afraid of the blank page, what happens when we prioritise their voices over getting everything "right," and the extraordinary things young people can create when they're given permission to trust their imaginations. And beneath it all is something even more personal, a mother's love for her son, the refusal to allow silence to have the final word and the decision to transform their story into an opportunity for other children to discover the power of their own. As Kate herself realises towards the end of our conversation: at the end of the day, it's a love story.   You can find all her work here: https://katemarkland.com/    New Episodes out EVERY TUESDAY 6:00am AEST.  Hosted by Justin Magsino. Episode 118 - "The Forever Weight of Remembering" with Frank Healy

What if every joyful moment, every heartbreak, every embarrassing mistake and every act of kindness stayed with you forever, not just in your mind, but with the same emotional intensity as the day it happened? In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Frank Healy, one of fewer than 100 people in the world known to have Hyperthymesia, a rare neurological condition that allows him to remember virtually every day of his life in extraordinary detail. But this conversation goes far beyond memory. Frank shares what it's like to navigate life with an emotional archive that never fades, where childhood moments, first loves, personal triumphs and painful losses remain as vivid decades later as they were in the moment. Together, we explore the remarkable gift and the profound burden of remembering. We also dive into how Frank transformed his own experience into a life's purpose. Inspired by the challenge of managing his memories, he became a counsellor, author and educator, developing practical approaches to help people release the emotional weight of the past without losing the lessons it carries. At its heart, this is a conversation about memory, healing, resilience and the stories we continue to carry. It asks an intriguing question: if we can't always choose what we remember, can we choose how those memories shape us? New Episodes out EVERY TUESDAY 6:00am AEST.  Hosted by Justin Magsino. Episode 117 - "When The Voice Fades" with Peter Haskell

For nearly three decades, Peter Haskell was one of New York City's most trusted voices. As an award-winning broadcast journalist with WCBS News Radio 880, he reported on some of the city's defining moments, from the tragedy of 9/11 to the aftermath of Superstorm Sandy, helping millions make sense of history as it unfolded. But what happens when the very thing you've built your life around begins to change? In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Peter for a deeply reflective conversation about identity, purpose and the courage to embrace life's unexpected chapters. Peter shares his lifelong love of storytelling, from recording pretend sports broadcasts as a child to spending almost thirty years behind the microphone, before a diagnosis of spasmodic dysphonia gradually forced him to step away from the career he had always dreamed of. Rather than allowing that chapter to define him, Peter found a new way to live out the same purpose. Today, through his work with the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, he continues telling stories that honour the lives of first responders, military families and those who have sacrificed for others. Alongside this, he is helping shape the next generation of journalists by teaching students the enduring importance of truth, empathy and responsible storytelling in an age of misinformation. Together, we explore the responsibility that comes with telling someone else's story, why compassion is just as important as curiosity and how resilience is often found not in refusing to change, but in discovering that the values which define us can be expressed in countless different ways. This is a conversation about perspective, persistence and the quiet reassurance that while our careers may evolve, our purpose doesn't have to. Check out Dysphonia International here on https://dysphonia.org/ the leading nonprofit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people with spasmodic dysphonia and related voice conditions. Here you can explore trusted resources about symptoms, diagnosis and treatment options, hear personal stories from others living with voice disorders and find support through local groups and events. Episode 116 - "The Human Variable: Money Is Not Just Math" with Linda Grizely

Money is one of the most influential forces in our lives, yet it's also one of the least talked about. In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Linda Grizely, Certified Financial Planner, financial wellness educator and creator of the Me Money Method for a conversation that goes far beyond budgets and bank accounts. Together, we explore the deeply personal stories, beliefs and relationships that shape the way we earn, spend, save and value money. Linda's own journey is a testament to betting on yourself. From becoming a single mother at just 16, navigating divorce and returning to university at 48 to earn both her bachelor's and master's degrees, she shares how choosing yourself, even later in life, can become one of the greatest investments you'll ever make. Together, we unpack the hidden "money stories" we inherit from childhood, the five distinct money personalities that influence our financial decisions and why so many relationship conflicts aren't really about money at all, but about the values, fears and experiences money represents. We also explore why finances can become either one of the strongest foundations of a relationship or one of its greatest sources of tension and how open communication, shared understanding and practical tools like Linda's Me Money Method can transform financial conversations from conflict into connection. This is a conversation about self-worth, courage, relationships and the quiet ways our financial habits tell the story of who we are and who we're still becoming. Episode 115: "Soulful Power" with Christian De La Huerta

In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Christian de la Huerta, award-winning author, TEDx speaker, spiritual teacher and internationally renowned breathwork facilitator, for a deeply thought-provoking conversation about authenticity, purpose and the lifelong journey of becoming who we truly are. From a young age, many of us inherit ideas of success, love, and identity without ever stopping to ask whether they genuinely belong to us. Christian invites us to challenge those stories, arguing that fulfilment isn't found by accumulating more achievements, but by peeling back the layers of conditioning that separate us from our authentic selves. Together, we explore why self-awareness requires courage, how breathwork can become a powerful catalyst for healing and transformation and why the relationships in our lives often reveal the parts of ourselves still asking to be understood. Rather than viewing conflict as something to avoid, Christian reframes it as an invitation to greater consciousness, intimacy and growth. This isn't simply a conversation about personal development. It's an invitation to question who you've become, reconnect with who you've always been and discover that the life you're searching for may begin not by looking further ahead, but by looking deeper within. Episode 114: "Uncaged Solutions" with Dr Cynthia Coy

In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Dr. Cynthia Coy, founder and CEO of Uncaged Solutions, former US Air Force leader, and executive coach, for a powerful conversation about the hidden cost of achievement and what it truly means to lead a fulfilling life. After spending over 20 years in the US Air Force and senior corporate leadership, Cynthia came to a profound realisation... that burnout isn't always caused by working too hard, it often begins when we become disconnected from ourselves. Together, we explore why so many high achievers lose themselves in the pursuit of success, the dangers of people-pleasing and external validation and how leadership begins long before we lead others. Cynthia shares her transformative Framework, guiding us through worthiness, healing, ownership, leadership and embodiment as a pathway back to living with greater alignment and purpose. At its heart, this conversation asks a simple but confronting question: Do you recognise and genuinely like the person you've become? Whether you're leading a team, building a career, or simply trying to create a life that feels more authentic, this episode is a reminder that success means very little if it costs you yourself. Episode 113: "Beyond the Bodyguard: The Woman Behind The Viral Moment" with Dione Chan

In this episode of Just Enamoured, I sit down with Dione Chan, close protection officer, security specialist and Director of ICP Group Australia, for a fascinating conversation that completely reframes what it means to feel safe. While many know Dione from her viral interaction with Drake during his Australian tour, this conversation goes far beyond the headlines. We explore the mindset developed through more than a decade of working in high-risk environments, protecting clients, reading people and making split-second decisions under pressure. Dione shares her journey from being a quiet, self-conscious child to thriving in one of the world's most demanding professions, revealing how confidence wasn't something she was born with, it was something she learned through awareness, experience and trust in herself. Together, we unpack her SAFE Framework, a practical approach that teaches anyone, not just security professionals, how to become their own first responder. From trusting your intuition and reading human behaviour to navigating uncomfortable situations with confidence, Dione offers lessons that extend far beyond personal safety. At its heart, this is a conversation about awareness, empathy, resilience and discovering that true safety isn't about eliminating fear, it's about building enough trust in yourself to know you'll respond when it matters most.
