    What happens when you stop building the life you're expected to live and start investing in the life you actually want? Ten years ago, I knew Nicole Tabuena as a teenager. A decade later, we sit down as two adults navigating our own journeys of identity, ambition and discovering what it truly means to pursue a life we love. At 25, Nicole began questioning a future that seemed almost predetermined. The familiar expectations of stability, routine and following a conventional path no longer aligned with the person she was becoming. So she made a decision to go all in. Moving back home with her parents, saving relentlessly, taking on freelance work and eventually embarking on three months of solo travel across Asia, Nicole began investing her time, finances and energy into something far greater than a career change... discovering who she was and what she wanted from life. And somewhere along that journey, she found the courage to pursue an ambition that many might dismiss before it even begins. Becoming a full-time YouTuber. After a hiatus from Just Enamoured, my wife Emma returns to the podcast and this time, she's stepping into the spotlight to tell a story of her own. For the first time publicly, Emma opens up about the journey behind launching her skincare business, Radiance Tallow. Where the idea came from, the purpose behind the brand and the reality of turning something deeply personal into something real. She speaks candidly about what happens beyond the excitement of saying, “I'm starting a business", the uncertainty, challenges, decisions, investment and enormous amount of work required to actually build one.     What if one night you were never supposed to have changed the rest of your life? Neither Lachlan nor Marcaela was supposed to make it onto a harbour cruise that night. Against the odds, they both did. Coming from different countries and cultures, their connection had every reason to remain a beautiful memory from one extraordinary night.     Episode 125 - "A Sober Love Story" Learning to Love Myself Without Alcohol

    For a long time, I believed alcohol made me someone worth loving. It gave me confidence. It made me louder, funnier and more uninhibited. It helped me create a version of myself that I thought other people loved and for a while, a version of myself that I loved too. But maintaining that person came at a cost. In one of the most vulnerable episodes I've recorded, I reflect candidly on my relationship with alcohol, the ways it negatively shaped parts of my life and the uncomfortable realisation that something I associated with confidence, connection and belonging was slowly pulling me further away from myself. I explore the moments that forced me to reconsider my relationship with drinking, the imposter syndrome I felt around my own authenticity and what happened when I stopped relying on intoxication to become the person I thought I needed to be. Because sobriety, for me, has become about much more than not drinking. It's been about learning that I don't need to manufacture a different version of myself to feel confident, interesting or worthy of connection. That somewhere along the way, I realised this wasn't really a story about giving up alcohol. It was a story about finally learning to love the person who remained without it. Nathan opens up about his journey as an actor, the moments that pushed him towards this pursuit and why performing, storytelling and creating have never felt like career choices to him.
