As someone navigating life with persistent pain, I've learned how to live a joyful life no matter the pain I experience.     It’s Okay To Live A Life That Others Don’t Understand

    In this week’s episode Danielle revisits the concept of capacity and leads listeners through a self-compassion practice, reminding them that they are always more than enough just as they are. She acknowledges that there are many activities that are unavailable to her right now, but sending Love Notes isn’t one of them! She invites listeners to send their postal mailing addresses if they would like to receive a Love Note in the mail. Danielle speaks to a quote that continues to remind her to be more kind and understanding towards herself and others. She reflects upon the importance of sharing the darker and more painful moments of life, after an insightful message that she received from her beautiful cousin.     Figuring Out How To Be Human Together

    This week Danielle shares what has been helping her move through a challenging season.     I Am Uncomfortable And I Am Okay

She shares a snippet of the post-operative challenges she’s experienced since the laparoscopic myomectomy to remove a uterine fibroid nearly 13 weeks ago. She reminds listeners that when they reflect on past events that they wish were different, “Just because things could’ve been different, doesn’t mean they would’ve been better.” Danielle guides listeners through simple breathing tools to help them come back to their breath, return to the present, and experience more moments of peace.     Every Little Thing Gonna Be Alright

    Coming Home To Myself

    This week Danielle takes the opportunity to express her thankfulness to Pain To Joy listeners for all of their love and support. She provides an update about her ferritin levels and her experience getting a Monoferric iron infusion. She revisits the post-concussion and migraine recovery program she embarked upon earlier this year, and imparts some of the most helpful takeaways that she has implemented daily. Danielle sings the praises of her counsellor, as well as acupuncturist, Qi Gong, and Inner Bonding practitioner Michel Duhaime. Danielle shares the tale of a magical Christmas surprise that she and her siblings gifted to their parents.
