Loved it until the end. Great story, obviously well researched and well told but disappointing at the end. All that evidence and not once do they address any motive for their prime suspects. People kill for a reason. What was the motive to kill Sissy???

I finished this hoping the journalists would redeem themselves but it didn’t happen. I wondered at first why the family took the stance they did. It’s clear that it was because of harassment by the police chief. Tony was obviously beloved by many and also very problematic. The glossing over of the serious problems within his department took away the credibility of the journalists. Sissy does deserve justice. I can’t imagine she would want it at the expense of her family against whom the reason evidence. Keith is more interested in maintaining his ties to law enforcement than actually reporting this story. How they ever expected the victim’s grandson to speak with them is beyond me.

This is a great story with lots of twists and well researched. Hopefully it will bring more attention and help with solving the case.

Just poorly written. It feels like one long boring trailer.
