The Great Commission and Our Family

Jorge Soto walks through the parables of Luke 15 to expose a uncomfortable truth: Christian culture has quietly made family an idol. Like the older brother who couldn't celebrate the return of the lost son, we reserve our love, time, and disciple-making almost exclusively for our own children — while treating those outside our household as optional. Jorge challenges us to stop building "little kingdoms that exist for themselves" and instead let our homes become places where God's family becomes visible to the world. The call is simple but costly: live your normal life, and invite people into it.

Fishing For and Raising Up Noahs

Cecil Bean explores God's plan to "fish for men" and raise up righteous individuals—what he calls "Noahs"—who can sustain and flavor the world through faithful living. Drawing from Genesis through Revelation, Cecil traces how God has consistently worked through a single righteous person at critical moments in history, from Noah to Abraham to the prophets, and ultimately through Jesus and his eleven disciples who "turned the world upside down." He challenges listeners to go beyond merely leading people to Christ by investing deeply in discipling young believers—particularly those in their late teens to mid-twenties—using a life-on-life approach modeled by Jesus himself.

Made for This: Reclaiming Our Purpose

Jorge Soto explores the biblical truth that we are created in the image of God—designed to reflect Him, relate to Him and one another in love, and reproduce that image in the world. Drawing from Genesis, the New Testament epistles, and the teachings of Jesus, Jorge unpacks how the Great Commandment and the Great Commission are not burdens but the joyful, natural outflow of who we were always meant to be. He challenges listeners to move beyond a convenient, scheduled Christianity and embrace the exciting, lifelong calling of making disciples who are conformed to the image of Christ.

    The Three Deal Breakers

82-year-old Cecil Bean — a believer of 63 years — outlines three non-negotiable commitments God expects from every Christian: genuine repentance and life change, continual growth through immersion in God's Word (especially the Gospels), and sharing God's heart by caring for the hurting and lost. Drawing on personal stories and extensive Scripture, Cecil challenges listeners not to let grace "dumb down" God's call to obedience.

    Putting Christ First

Jorge Soto unpacks what it means to seek first the kingdom of God, exploring why putting Christ first is so difficult in everyday life. He identifies three persistent opponents — the devil, the world, and the flesh — that quietly pull believers away from a Christ-centered life, and calls listeners to move beyond bare-minimum cultural Christianity into intentional spiritual training and wholehearted kingdom pursuit.

    Our Daily Bread

In this message, Jorge Soto explores the spiritual discipline of a daily quiet time by tracing the theme of “daily bread” from Exodus 16 through Jesus’ wilderness temptation in Matthew 4. Just as God taught Israel to depend on Him for manna gathered fresh each morning, Jesus models complete dependence on God’s word over physical provision — a lesson that echoes into the Lord’s Prayer and Jesus’ teaching on anxiety in Matthew 6. Using the PLUMP framework (Pray, Listen, Underline, Meditate, Pray) and the SPECK method for meditation, Jorge offers a practical, sustainable approach to daily time in Scripture — and makes the case that our real struggles aren’t solved by external circumstances, but by spiritual nourishment we return to every single day.

    The Word Hand Illustration

Building on a four-week gospel series, Luke Savage shares “The Word Hand” — a simple five-finger illustration for growing skilled in Scripture. Opening with the image of Solomon’s sixty mighty men, each an expert with his sword, Luke draws the connection to Ephesians 6 and the sword of the Spirit, then walks through each finger: hearing (pinky), reading (ring finger), studying (middle finger), memorizing (pointer), and meditating (thumb) — the one finger that touches all the others. Only when the whole hand closes around God’s word, adding obedience through the palm, do we get a grip strong enough to actually wield it. Drawing on 2 Timothy, the Bereans’ example, Jesus’s wilderness temptation, and the parable of the sower, this teaching challenges listeners to move beyond a two-finger grasp of Scripture toward full-handed discipleship.

    What is the Gospel? 3

From Eden’s rest to Egypt’s slavery to the Pharisees’ heavy burdens — humanity has spent history searching for a rest it lost at the Fall. In this message, Jorge traces the theme of yokes and rulers through Scripture: Pharaoh’s yoke of slavery, the Law’s yoke exposed by Paul in Romans 7, and the religious yoke the Pharisees laid on the people. Then we arrive at Jesus’ invitation in Matthew 11 — “Take my yoke upon you… for my yoke is easy and my burden is light.” Jorge unpacks what that yoke actually is (discipleship), why spiritual maturity matters so much to Paul, Peter, and the writer of Hebrews, and why so many Christians live as slaves when they’ve been called as sons and daughters. This is the story of how God restores us — not just to salvation, but to the restful, life-giving relationship he intended from the beginning.
