The Church | Pastor Ryan Williams

Is church something you attend—or someone you belong to? Discover God's blueprint for the New Testament Church in Acts 2 and learn how biblical community, prayer, fellowship, and God's Word can transform your life and the lives of those around you.  What is the Church? For many people, church is a building, a service, or something you attend once a week. But in Acts chapter 2, we discover that the Church is so much more. The Church isn't a place you go—it's a people you belong to. The early believers devoted themselves to four foundational practices: the teaching of God's Word, genuine fellowship, breaking bread together, and prayer. Their devotion created a community where burdens were shared, lives were transformed, miracles took place, and people encountered Jesus every day. If you've ever felt alone in church, carried burdens by yourself, or wondered where you truly belong, this message is an invitation to rediscover God's design for His Church. We weren't created to simply attend church—we were created to be the Church. When believers devote themselves to God's presence and to one another, the Holy Spirit moves, lives are changed, and the Gospel spreads. The Church is still God's plan for reaching the world. The Good News | Pastor Ryan Williams

Are you exhausted from trying to be good enough for God? Discover the life-changing difference between religion and the Gospel, and why the good news of Jesus is greater than any failure, shame, or burden you've carried.  In a world filled with bad news, the Gospel is still the greatest news ever told. Before we can fully appreciate the good news of Jesus, we have to understand the bad news: none of us can meet God's perfect standard. The Law reveals our sin, exposes our brokenness, and shows us that we cannot save ourselves. In this message from Acts chapter 2, we explore the powerful contrast between Mount Sinai and Pentecost. At Sinai, the Law was given and 3,000 people died under judgment. At Pentecost, the Spirit was poured out and 3,000 people were brought to life through the Gospel. The Law tells us what we owe. Jesus tells us what has already been paid. If you've been trapped in performance-based faith, carrying the weight of shame, guilt, unrealistic expectations, or feeling like you'll never be good enough, this message is for you. The Gospel is not about earning God's love—it is about receiving the love He has already demonstrated through Jesus Christ. The invitation remains the same today: stop striving, stop hiding, and look to Jesus. There is good news for you. The Last Days | Pastor Ryan Williams

Are we witnessing Bible prophecy unfold before our eyes? Discover what Acts chapter 2 reveals about the last days, the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and why the Church's mission is more urgent than ever.   Are we really living in the last days? From wars and natural disasters to global unrest and spiritual hunger, it seems like the world is growing more chaotic by the day. But according to Scripture, the last days didn't begin yesterday—they began with the first coming of Jesus Christ. In this message from Acts chapter 2, we explore Peter's explanation of Pentecost and Joel's prophecy that God would pour out His Spirit on all people in the last days. What happened in the upper room wasn't just for the early church—it was the beginning of a movement that continues today. The Holy Spirit is still being poured out. People are still encountering Jesus through dreams and visions. The Gospel is still advancing to unreached people groups around the world. And the Church still has a mission: reach the lost while there is time on the clock. This message is a reminder that the last days are not meant to create fear—they are meant to create urgency. We are not spectators waiting for the end. We are participants in God's plan to bring hope, salvation, and the love of Jesus to a world that desperately needs Him. The countdown is running. The mission remains the same. And the Spirit of God is still moving. The Tongues | Pastor Ryan Williams

What if speaking in tongues was never the main point of Acts chapter 2? Discover how Pentecost reversed the effects of Babel and revealed God's heart to reach every nation with the love of Jesus Christ. When most people hear the phrase speaking in tongues, they immediately think of something strange, confusing, or controversial. But what if Acts chapter 2 was never primarily about tongues at all? In this message from Acts chapter 2, we explore the miraculous moment when the Holy Spirit empowered ordinary believers to communicate the gospel across language barriers. What happened on the Day of Pentecost wasn't random—it was God's answer to a problem that began at the Tower of Babel. From Genesis to Acts, Scripture reveals a God who is determined to reach every nation, every tribe, every language, and every person with His love. The Holy Spirit wasn't given to create confusion but to overcome it. The miracle of Pentecost reminds us that God's heart has always been for the lost and that His love is the one language every person can understand. This message challenges us to look beyond the gifts of the Spirit and rediscover the mission of the Spirit: reaching people with the life-changing message of Jesus Christ. The same Spirit that empowered the early church still empowers believers today to share God's love with a divided world. Bible Verses: Acts 2:1–11 Genesis 11:1–9 Genesis 12:1–3 Matthew 24:14 Romans 8:38–39 Philippians 2:10–11 1 Corinthians 13:1–13 #TheTongues #BookOfActs #HolySpirit #SpeakingInTongues #Pentecost #Acts2 #BaptismInTheHolySpirit #LoveOfGod #GreatCommission #ValleyChurch #JesusSaves #ForTheOne #GospelForAllNations To support this ministry and help us continue to reach people all around the world click here: https://www.myvalleychurchtx.com/give Real People, Real Promises, Real Purpose. The Fire | Pastor Ryan Williams

What if the fire of God was never meant to stay in a building—but to live in you? Discover the powerful connection between Pentecost, the Old Testament altar, and the Holy Spirit's fire in Acts chapter 2.     On the Day of Pentecost, the Holy Spirit didn't just come as a mighty rushing wind—He came with fire. In this message from Acts chapter 2, we explore the significance of the fire that rested on every believer and how it connects to the fire God first sent from heaven in the Old Testament. The same fire that burned on the altar for generations is the fire that now dwells within the people of God through the Holy Spirit. For centuries, the fire of God's presence was confined to a tabernacle and a temple. But after Jesus tore the veil through His sacrifice, everything changed. The fire found a new home—not in a building, but in believers. Maybe you've felt spiritually exhausted. Maybe life's pressures, distractions, and disappointments have caused your passion for God to fade. This message is a reminder that God never intended His fire to go out. The Holy Spirit still empowers, purifies, and ignites ordinary people to live extraordinary lives for Christ. The same fire that fell from heaven is still available today. The Wind | Pastor Ryan Williams

What if the missing piece in your spiritual life isn’t more effort—but a fresh wind from God? Discover the power of the Holy Spirit through Acts chapter 2 and the Day of Pentecost.    On the Day of Pentecost, the disciples weren’t just waiting for fire—they were waiting for the wind. In this message from Acts chapter 2, we explore how the Holy Spirit first arrived as a mighty rushing wind that filled the house and awakened ordinary people with extraordinary purpose. From Genesis to Pentecost, the breath of God has always brought life to what was empty, chaotic, and lifeless. The same Spirit that hovered over the waters in creation and breathed life into Adam is the same Spirit that filled the upper room—and still fills believers today. Maybe you feel spiritually dry, exhausted, or stuck in routine. Maybe your fire has faded and your faith feels weary. This message is a reminder that revival doesn’t begin with hype or emotion—it begins when the wind of God breathes fresh life into His people again. God is still breathing on dry bones. God is still reviving hearts. And God still wants to move through Spirit-empowered believers who will carry His presence into the world around them. The Gift | Pastor Ryan Williams

What if the greatest gift God ever gave the Church is the one many believers overlook? Discover the power and purpose of the Holy Spirit in this message from Acts chapter 1.   In the opening message of our new series through the Book of Acts, we discover that the Holy Spirit is not just a gift from God—He is the gift. Before Jesus ascended into heaven, He told His disciples to wait for the promise of the Father: the power of the Holy Spirit. The disciples were focused on fixing their circumstances, but Jesus was preparing them for something far greater. Acts reminds us that the Holy Spirit was never meant to stay boxed up or hidden away. The Spirit empowers ordinary people to live boldly, love deeply, and become witnesses of Jesus everywhere they go. This message challenges us to stop staring at the sky waiting for God to do something and instead become Spirit-empowered people who carry hope, freedom, and the gospel into the world around us. The mission is not just for pastors or church leaders—it’s for every believer. You don’t just have a job; you have a mission. Eager Believer | Pastor Ryan Williams

Feeling stuck in a dry season? This message will encourage you to keep praying, keep believing, and trust that God’s rain is on the way.   In this message, Eager Believer, we close out the Good Intention series by looking at what it means to keep believing while we wait. James reminds us that faith is not just about having good intentions—it’s about patiently enduring, continuing to pray, and trusting God even when the rain hasn’t come yet. Through the picture of a farmer waiting for rain, the suffering of Job, and the persistent prayers of Elijah, we’re challenged to keep planting, keep praying, and keep believing. Dry seasons can make us question God’s timing, but the rain is not late because God forgot. The rain comes in its season. Whether you need healing, hope, revival, or renewed faith, this message reminds us that God is tender, merciful, and faithful—and rain is on the way.
