It really hasn’t hit me that he’s gone. It still feels like he’s here, that because of what he’s made, he’ll never truly die. The first movie I ever watched from him was The Elephant Man. I was mainly watching it for John Hurt, but it introduced me to the beautiful craft that Lynch would imbue into his movies. Years later, i watched twin peaks. It took a rewatch to truly get into the series and enjoy the slow sweet moments. But it also took watching Dune and Eraserhead as well. This, other than Good Omens, has been the kindest fandom I have ever been a part of. I love it so much, i truly want to meet these people in real life. And, if possible, move to be by the city where Twin Peaks was originally filmed. Living in Florida, Lynch fans are kinda rare. Listening not only to this podcast but Creamed Corn Universe’s podcast, has made me, all the more appreciate Lynch, Twin Peaks, and all the actors and celebrities that are a part of his world, big or small. I hope to meet you ladies in person in the future. Thank you all for being a safe space for so many. ❤️❤️
