The Eternal Entrepreneur

Ashleigh Malangone

I’m Ashleigh Malangone, wife and mom of four; creator, self-proclaimed eternal entrepreneur and founder of Blaise. This podcast was born to share my own multi-passionate journey through entrepreneurship. Sharing the knowledge I’ve gained along the way, while giving insight into navigating the highs, the lows, the pivots, the breakthroughs and especially how all of that intersects with my experience in the creator economy. As a creator, I’ve seen firsthand how powerful influence can be; how a recommendation, a story, or a moment shared online, can move real people to take real action in the real world. But I also saw a massive gap…especially for creators and brick-and-mortar businesses, who were driving real results with no clear way to measure or monetize that impact. That gap is what led me to build Blaise — Blaise is a first-to-market web and mobile influencer marketing platform connecting local creators and storefront businesses, using QR code tracking and POS integration, while delivering advanced ROI + customer acquisition analytics. For the first time in marketing history. On this podcast, I interview some of my favorite entrepreneurs who share their invaluable knowledge and professional advice with you. Additionally, in my Blaise Spotlight Series, I sit down with Blaise creators and business owners, who are building incredible legacies. They share their expertise, their stories, and their vision. It’s my mission to provide inspirational entrepreneurs with an additional platform to be seen, heard, and celebrated; because entrepreneurship isn’t linear and the creator economy is constantly evolving. The most powerful businesses are built when creativity, strategy, and alignment come together. And never forget, we rise together.

Blaise Spotlight Series: What Happens When Moms Stop Choosing Between Fitness and Their Kids with Nicole Garcia of Motherhood Moves

In this Blaise Spotlight Series episode, host Ashleigh Malangone welcomes Nicole Garcia, founder of Motherhood Moves, a Long Island-based fitness platform that's disrupting the traditional gym model for mothers. Nicole is a mom of three (ages 19, 4, and 2) who created Motherhood Moves to solve a problem she experienced firsthand: the struggle to maintain fitness while managing childcare. Now in its third year, Motherhood Moves offers outdoor fitness classes where moms can bring their kids, eliminating the childcare barrier that prevents many mothers from prioritizing their health. Nicole shares the origin story of her business, explaining how what started as informal park workouts with friends has evolved into a comprehensive wellness platform that goes far beyond traditional fitness. Motherhood Moves integrates movement, mindset, and community, partnering with a registered dietician and licensed mental health counselor to support the whole person through all phases of motherhood. The conversation explores how Motherhood Moves creates genuine friendships among members, with moms connecting across different stages of motherhood. Nicole emphasizes the importance of local partnerships and staying aligned with brand values. Ashleigh and Nicole dive deep into the challenges of balancing entrepreneurship with motherhood, discussing the importance of surrounding yourself with the right people and not feeling guilty about prioritizing self-care. Blaise Spotlight Series: Building Community & Wellness with Karen Sullivan from The Wellness Stop

In this inspiring episode of the Eternal Entrepreneur Podcast's Blaise Spotlight Series, host Ashleigh Malangone sits down with Karen Sullivan, the owner and founder of The Wellness Stop in Port Jefferson, New York. Karen's journey into wellness entrepreneurship began with her own health struggles as a 29-year cancer survivor who experienced significant health deterioration a decade after her initial diagnosis. Frustrated by the lack of resources in functional and integrative medicine, she spent years learning how to heal her body, ultimately channeling that knowledge into creating a sanctuary for women in her community. At 58 years old, Karen opened The Wellness Stop in April 2024, proving it's never too late to pursue your entrepreneurial dreams. Just four months later, she expanded to include a second floor dedicated to wellness services. The business intentionally serves women ages 45-65, a demographic that Karen identifies as "grossly underserved" when it comes to navigating perimenopause, menopause, and post-menopause. By focusing on this specific niche, Karen has created a thriving community where women feel seen, heard, and supported through one of life's most challenging transitions. The Wellness Stop offers a unique combination of carefully curated non-toxic retail products, including skincare, body care, and cleaning lines sourced locally when possible; alongside comprehensive wellness services. Clients can access massage therapy, sound healing, certified aromatherapy, red light bed therapy, and detox foot baths, all under one roof. As a certified functional medicine coach with 20 years of experience, Karen provides nutritional coaching and works alongside a trusted network of physicians, PAs, and gynecologists to create comprehensive health roadmaps for her clients. Her typical coaching engagement lasts three to six months and begins with a free consultation call, followed by an in-depth session that includes InBody composition testing. Throughout the conversation, Karen and Ashleigh explore the common health challenges facing women in this age range, including weight gain during hormonal shifts, anxiety, insomnia, menstrual fluctuations, gut health issues, and cognitive decline. Karen emphasizes the importance of nutrition as a foundation for wellness and shares her practical approach to clean eating, encouraging clients to choose foods with recognizable, pronounceable ingredients and to be wary of products with excessive ingredient lists or added sugars. The episode also delves into the realities of marketing as a solo entrepreneur. Karen candidly shares her frustrations with the overwhelming cost of traditional marketing services, which are prohibitive for new small businesses. This leads to an exciting discussion about Blaise, Ashleigh's innovative influencer marketing platform designed specifically for brick-and-mortar businesses. Unlike traditional influencer marketing that requires significant upfront investment, Blaise offers a commission-based model where businesses only pay when they make sales, and creators earn money for authentic referrals. The platform addresses a critical gap in the market, making influencer marketing accessible and affordable for small business owners like Karen who are managing everything themselves. Beyond the business strategies, the conversation touches on the deeper purpose behind The Wellness Stop: creating community. Karen recognizes that women in their 45-65 age range often experience identity shifts and friendship gaps as their children leave home and their roles evolve. Her workshops, art classes, and wellness events provide opportunities for women to connect, form friendships, and support one another through shared experiences. This sense of belonging and mutual support is just as vital to wellness as the products and services offered. **** HOST **** The Eternal Entrepreneur, Instagram: instagram.com/: Blaise, Instagram: instagram.com/join.blaise Ashleigh Malangone, Instagram: instagram.com/ashleigh.malangone The Eternal Entrepreneur, LinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/the-eternal-entrepreneur® Blaise, LinkedIn: linkedin.com/company/joinblaise Ashleigh Malangone, LinkedIn: linkedin.com/in/ashleighmalangone Blaise, TikTok: tiktok.com/@join.blaise Ashleigh Malangone, TikTok: tiktok.com/@ashleigh.malangone **** GUEST **** Website: thewellnesstop.com Instagram: instagram.com/thewellnessstoppj Facebook: facebook.com/TheWellnessStop The Wellness Stop Events: karensullivanwellness.com/events

The Multi-Billion Dollar Blind Spot in Influencer Marketing And How Blaise is Finally Solving It

Influencer marketing has officially become the most profitable form of marketing today.  It’s a multi-billion dollar industry, growing substantially year after year.   It’s been proven that consumers trust creators more than any other advertising source. Yet despite the explosive growth, one shocking fact remains: 90% of all consumer purchases still happen offline. For an industry built on influence, that means the majority of real-world sales creators drive… go completely untracked. And that disconnect has kept thousands of storefront businesses shut out of an opportunity that could transform their revenue. As a creator myself, in addition to major e-commerce brands, I’ve partnered with countless storefront  businesses, as well: boutiques, gyms, coffee shops, med spas, restaurants… Every time I posted: customers showed up, purchases were made, appointments were booked. I knew it.  The businesses knew it.  But neither of us could prove it. There was no infrastructure.  No measurement.  No attribution.  No transparency. I heard this from store owners constantly: “Ashleigh, I know you’re sending people… but it is so hard to keep track of who came from you.” That single pain point has kept brick-and-mortar businesses from confidently investing in creators, even though influencer marketing is the most trusted form of marketing available. And creators?  Creators have been potentially underselling their true value for years simply because their in-person influence wasn’t measurable. This wasn’t just my problem. It was the industry’s problem. After years of experiencing this gap firsthand, I realized something that felt almost unbelievable after countless google and Ai searches… Offline attribution, a foundational piece of the creator economy, simply did not exist. Creators were driving foot traffic every day.  Businesses were benefiting every day.  But there was no system connecting the dots. So I decided to build it. Not just for myself…  but for the tens of thousands of creators and the millions of storefront businesses who have been left invisible or untraceable to each other for far too long. Blaise is quite literally The First Platform to Track Verified In-Person Sales Driven by Creators. For the first time ever, businesses can finally see which creators are sending customers. Creators get paid based on actual impact, not guesses. Both sides gain access to transparent, accurate, measurable ROI. This levels the playing field between e-commerce and brick-and-mortar.  It makes influencer marketing accessible, trackable, and profitable for every storefront, not just online retailers and business segments. Instead of paying creators a flat fee with no guarantee, Blaise allows businesses the option to pay commission on verified sales only. No risk. No wasted spend. No blind confidence. And the data?  This is a game-changer: >customer demographics >age ranges >location clusters >purchasing behavior >visit frequency Like I said: GAME CHANGER. Creators have always driven more influence than platforms could measure. That changes now. With Blaise, creators can: >earn recurring commission on real sales >build long-term partnerships >prove their true value >participate in the booming offline economy This is the beginning of the IRL creator era, where influence moves beyond likes and clicks and translates into actual foot traffic and revenue. Influencer marketing was built for digital commerce. Blaise is bringing that power to the physical world. For the first time ever, offline attribution exists, and both creators and businesses get to win. We’re not just building an app: we’re building the infrastructure that connects creators to real-world commerce. The early businesses and creators on Blaise will become the leaders of this next wave.  This is the moment to get in early, get visible, and build partnerships that compound. If you’re a business or creator ready to be part of the first wave, join the Blaise waitlist. The future of influence is offline and it’s finally trackable. WWW.JOINBLAISE.COM
