    Tomáš Chorý’s Middle Finger

In this episode, I dive into the incident involving Slavia Prague striker Tomáš Chorý, who was sent off for showing the referee the middle finger. What provoked his reaction, what punishment could he face, and how will the incident affect his future at Slavia? Is Chorý the victim of a frustrating situation, or is he the villain who has let his team down once again? Let's discuss! England Made it Look Easy

🏴 England 3–0 Czechia… and it was a walk in the park. In this episode, I’m joined by my friend Clare, who’s from England and may not be a football expert, but she’s a great person to have on the podcast — and a very well-spoken one! We talk about Czechia’s disappointing performance, Vladimír Coufal’s horrible own goal and Harry Kane’s brace as England cruised to a comfortable 3–0 victory. What went wrong for Czechia? Why did England make it look so easy? And what can we take from the game? A post-match chat about England, Czechia and some useful football English along the way. ⚽🏴🇨🇿 Clare's Book Video from this episode __________________________________________ Fantasy Premier League MINI LEAGUE: 1zu6vy Czech Fantasy MINI LEAGUE: 3WWLKUCJ ______________________________________________________________________ SUPPORT the FOOTGLISH PODCAST: https://herohero.co/thrivingptfzcqbttaflf Take part in this fun Listener survey If you like this podcast, please subscribe on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts, and share it with your friends, colleagues, or anyone who might enjoy it. Why I’m Torn About Ronaldo

⚽ Why did Cristiano Ronaldo leave the Portugal national team — and could this be the beginning of the end? 🇵🇹 In this episode, I talk about Ronaldo as a player and a person: his incredible achievements 🏆, what makes him one of the greatest footballers ever, and the qualities that have driven him to the top. 👑 But I also look at the other side of the story — what could ultimately lead to his downfall and potentially tarnish his legacy? ⚠️ Video from this episode ______________________________________________________________________ Fantasy Premier League MINI LEAGUE: 1zu6vy Czech Fantasy MINI LEAGUE: 3WWLKUCJ ______________________________________________________________________ SUPPORT the FOOTGLISH PODCAST: https://herohero.co/thrivingptfzcqbttaflf Take part in this fun Listener survey If you like this podcast, please subscribe on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts, and share it with your friends, colleagues, or anyone who might enjoy it. Manchester City Found Guilty

⚽ Manchester City are at the centre of the biggest scandal in Premier League football history. In this episode, I’m joined by my friend Jenks to discuss what Manchester City have been found guilty of, what the potential ramifications could be, and what punishment they could face. How could this affect other clubs? What would it mean for the reputation of the Premier League? And what kind of punishment would be appropriate? We also talk about Tottenham’s season from a Spurs fan’s perspective, before looking ahead to the upcoming Czechia vs England game. A big conversation about Manchester City, financial rules, the Premier League, Tottenham and England. ⚽ Video from this episode ______________________________________________________________________ Fantasy Premier League MINI LEAGUE: 1zu6vy Czech Fantasy MINI LEAGUE: 3WWLKUCJ ______________________________________________________________________ SUPPORT the FOOTGLISH PODCAST: https://herohero.co/thrivingptfzcqbttaflf Take part in this fun Listener survey If you like this podcast, please subscribe on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts, and share it with your friends, colleagues, or anyone who might enjoy it. Luka Modric Ruins Santi Denia's Debut

🇨🇿 A new era of Czech football begins… but it starts with a defeat. I was at Fortuna Arena for Santi Denia’s first competitive game as Czechia’s new head coach — and the first-ever competitive match for a foreign coach in charge of the Czech national team. In this vlog, I take you with me on matchday, starting with an intro recorded in the woods before heading to the stadium, where I talk to the popular ⁨Stounman29⁩ and other Czech and Croatian fans. Then it’s time for the big game: Czechia vs Croatia, Luka Modrić scoring, Adam Karabec equalising, and Croatia eventually winning 2–1 in the opening game of this year's Nations League. After the final whistle, I share my thoughts on the game and the key takeaways from Santi Denia’s first match in charge. Data is Changing Football

How important is data in football these days? In this episode of Footglish, I’m joined by Jakub Kadrnoska, a football data expert, to talk about how data is changing the game — from analysing players and teams to recruitment, scouting and decision-making. We discuss why data has become such a hot topic in modern football, how clubs actually use it, and whether numbers can really tell us something that our eyes and instincts can’t. And, of course, you’ll pick up plenty of useful football English along the way. 🎙️ Listen to the episode and learn English through football! The Seagulls Are Flying

🇨🇿 Czechia’s Nations League squad is out — but there are plenty of questions to discuss! In this episode, I look at the most interesting talking points surrounding Santi Denia’s first squad as Czechia’s new head coach. How much pressure is Denia really under? Do Czechia stand any chance against Croatia, England and Spain? What’s happening with Patrik Schick? And which players were surprisingly left out of the squad? We also look at the expectations surrounding the team and whether the lack of pressure could actually work in Denia’s favour. A packed episode of Czech football, big questions and plenty of useful football English! ⚽🇨🇿 Video from this episode ______________________________________________________________________ Fantasy Premier League MINI LEAGUE: 1zu6vy Czech Fantasy MINI LEAGUE: 3WWLKUCJ ______________________________________________________________________ SUPPORT the FOOTGLISH PODCAST: https://herohero.co/thrivingptfzcqbttaflf Take part in this fun Listener survey If you like this podcast, please subscribe on YouTube, Spotify, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts, and share it with your friends, colleagues, or anyone who might enjoy it.
