    Ep #130 The Masquerader

How often have we heard of evil attempting to destroy good? Its the premise of every good movie and book, isn't it? And while often much of these stories are fabricated fiction, they are often believable because it hangs on a truth we all know. Good and Evil are at war. But few today likely realize just how close to home this battle is becoming. Throughout history, countless bloodshed has been waged over opposing religions, and that battle still rages today. Gary Froiland returns and reveals a dangerous religion that is seeking to destroy the Christian-based democracy we have been so blessed to be living in. A religion headed by Satan himself, who has even his very own followers deceived. Today is quite heavy, but factually revealing as we take a look at "The Masquerader" High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 9/27/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Ep #129 The Trial of Jesus and His Disciple

Today, we dive into the trial of our Lord Jesus Christ. Over the past several weeks, Jim has taken us alongside Jesus through incredible moments: from miracles and resurrection to the anguish of His prayers in Gethsemane. Now we arrive at a pivotal moment. Jesus has been arrested and brought before the ruling authorities to stand trial. But how does Jesus respond to the accusations against Him? What can we learn from His words... and from His silence? Meanwhile, another trial is unfolding in the background. Peter, the disciple who boldly declared that he would never abandon Jesus, has denied Him. What happens next? What do Peter’s failure and Jesus’ response teach us about fear, faithfulness, failure, and restoration? There is much for us to glean as we watch two very different trials unfold on the same night: the trial of our Lord and the testing of one of His closest followers. Join Jim Barnhart as we continue our journey through the final hours before the cross in “The Trial of Jesus and His Disciple.” High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 9/20/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Ep # 128 When God Says "No!"

“No.” It is one of the first words we learn to dislike as children, and reaching adulthood doesn’t make it any easier to hear. We make plans. We pray. We ask. We hope. And sometimes, God’s answer is simply… “No.” Today, Pastor John Grams takes us to Deuteronomy 3:23–28 and one of the most striking moments in the life of Moses. After 120 years of life and decades of faithfully leading the people of Israel, Moses makes what seems like a simple request: he wants to cross the Jordan and see the Promised Land. But God tells him no. Why does God sometimes deny the things we desperately want, even when we bring those desires to Him in prayer? How should we respond when His answer isn’t the one we hoped for? And could God’s “No” actually be leading us toward something we cannot yet see? Through the example of Moses, Pastor John shows us how to respond biblically when God closes a door, changes our plans, or refuses a request. And as the message reaches its surprising conclusion, we discover that God’s “No” may not be the end of the story at all. Be encouraged today as we learn what it means to trust Him… even “When God Says No!” High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 9/13/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Ep # 127 Under Arrest

Today, Jim takes us to one of the most troubling moments in the life of Jesus, and yet, even here, we see that Jesus is still in complete control. After spending time in prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane, the hour finally comes. Judas arrives, leading a group of armed guards to arrest Jesus. But why did they arrest Him? What crime had He committed? And what bold statement did Jesus make that was so powerful, the soldiers drew back and fell to the ground? In the middle of betrayal, fear, and darkness, Jesus never loses control. He does not run. He does not hide. Instead, He boldly steps forward, knowing exactly what lies ahead. Today, Jim points us to lessons from this incredible moment that can strengthen our own relationship with Christ. Because even in our darkest hours, we can stand with courage and confidence, knowing who our Savior is…just as Jesus did when He was “Under Arrest.” High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 9/6/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Ep # 126 Lessons from Gethsemane

We had some slight audio issues during the recording, but they certainly do not detract from the powerful message brought to us today by Jim Barnhart. As we continue our walk with Jesus, we enter one of the most troubling and agonizing moments leading up to the cross: the Garden of Gethsemane. Here, the disciples seem unaware of the gravity of what is unfolding around them. While they struggle to stay awake, Jesus falls before the Father in prayer, pouring out His anguish as He prepares to face what lies ahead. But Gethsemane is more than a glimpse into the suffering of Jesus. It also reveals some important truths about our own prayer lives. What hinders us from truly coming before God? What keeps us from honestly facing our sin? And what can we learn from the way Jesus prayed when the weight before Him seemed unbearable? Today, Jim takes us into the garden as we discover some powerful “Lessons from Gethsemane.” High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 8/30/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Ep # 125 Kerplunk

“Kerplunk.” A sound that almost seems humorous. And yet today, we look at how this simple sound affected the lives of two different men, thousands of years apart. Using 2 Kings 6 as our base text, we discover how each of us can experience our own “Kerplunk” moment. Something changes. Something falls apart. Something we were depending on suddenly disappears beneath the surface…even when we thought we were doing everything right. So what do we do when we come across one of these moments in our lives? And perhaps more importantly, who do we take our seemingly insignificant problems to when it seems God has so much more important things to deal with? Does God really care about the little things? That’s what we explore today, beginning with one simple sound: “Kerplunk.” High Forest Community Church www.highforestchurch.com Recorded: 8/23/26 For more information on how you can be certain of having eternal life, please contact us at info@highforestchurch.com Our other links: Facebook: facebook.com/profile.php?id=61552868390256&mibextid=JRoKGi YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/@highforestcommunitychurch Spotify: https://open.spotify.com/show/5l3baJZMvOJLYutaMDoVnv Apple Podcast: https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/hfcc-christ-centered-hope-for-todays-world/id1753425592?i=1000673790907 Rumble: https://rumble.com/user/HighForestChurch We are a Bible-Based, Jesus Only small community church located in rural South-East Minnesota. Ep #124 Hope for Troubled Hearts

We continue our walk with Jesus, nearing the final hours before the cross. And there are heavy hearts all around. With revelations of what is to come, and the fear of Jesus leaving them, the disciples are left wondering what all of this means. And here we see the Lord comforting His inner circle with words that still echo to us today, giving us courage and hope when we find ourselves in troubled times. Jim Barnhart takes us through the path Jesus gave His disciples to strengthen them, encourage them, and keep them moving forward. Ep #123 Facing Fear

When faced with overwhelming odds, or a situation that seems far beyond what you can handle, what do you do? Often, our first instinct is to begin orchestrating an escape route. We try to calculate a way to victory. Or sometimes, we simply run away from the problem altogether. But how should we handle our fears Biblically? Today, John Grams takes us to 2 Chronicles 20, where we find King Jehoshaphat facing not one, not two, but three armies coming against him. The odds seem impossible. The threat is real. And Jehoshaphat knows that neither his strength nor his strategy will be enough. What he does next gives us a powerful glimpse into what becomes possible when we stop looking at the size of the battle and start looking to the size of our God. Through this incredible account, we’ll discover three simple applications for our own lives that can change the way we respond when fear comes knocking. Whatever battle you may be facing today, you can walk away encouraged and confident that you do not face it alone.
