When I turned 21, I realized that life wasn't anything like I imagined it would be. The older I got, the more I understood that there isn't a single formula for making it. Success isn't just about working hard. It's hard work, prayer, consistency, the people around you, the environment you put yourself in, the opportunities you get, a little bit of luck, and sometimes simply believing in something so deeply that you start becoming the person who can achieve it. But even then, I've learned that success isn't a definite answer. We all define it differently. For some, it's money. For others, it's peace, purpose, freedom, family, impact, or simply waking up every day fulfilled. That's what made me want to start this series. There's No Discharge in the War is my attempt to understand life through the stories of other people. I want to hear from people who are still fighting, people who have failed, people who have won, people who are lost, and people who found themselves in places they never expected. Every story carries a lesson, and every journey has something to teach us. This isn't a series about pretending to have all the answers. It's about asking better questions, challenging the way we think about success, and accepting that we're all fighting different battles. As long as we're alive, the war isn't over. We keep learning, we keep growing, we keep adapting, and we keep moving forward. So, welcome to There's No Discharge in the War. I hope these conversations challenge you, inspire you, and maybe even help you define success on your own terms. Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy for more information.
