The Expertly Done Podcast

Stu Hughes

Self-taught journalist, Winfred Ultimatum-Jones interviews the greatest experts on the planet. The problem is they don't know what their expertise is until after the interview starts and Ultimatum-Jones tells them what they are an expert in. His interviews are a rambling improvised conversation that tend to veer off down unexpected and surprising avenues of improv nonsence. This is an improv comedy podcast for anyone who enjoys aimless conversations that can be surprisingly poignant, dramatic and often funny and silly. Winfred Ultimatum-Jones is improvised by Stu Hughes. Stu was raised by grey squirrels until he could no longer hide his nut allergy. Wandering alone in Wirral Country Park with little confidence, he was found and adopted by Liverpool Comedy Improv in the summer of 2018. The lovely people at Liverpool Comedy Improv raised him in the ways of comedy improv. It is during this time that he met the short form troupe, The Oickers and now he no longer climbs trees or craves a bushy tail. Stu also performs with the long form improv troupe, Grass Dens and is a performer at The Improv Boosts 'Together' shows in Chester. He can regularly be found at the Chester Improv Society's (CHIMPS) drop-ins and messing about at Flintshire Funnybone Improv too. Stu has also performed at the Improv Fest Ireland, Liverpool Improvisational Festival, and the The Robin Hood International Improv Festival. He's come a long way since pretending to be a squirrel.
