    Ogu Is Here

    What's good y'all!! This is the SEASON FINALE of Season One of "The Papi Wata's Grotto Podcast"! In today's episode, we will be talking about the Ogu that is present for us currently on Earth. In this episode I talk about some heavy stuff- some real s***. So please ground out and prepare yourself. We are ending this season with a BANG.     The Ezumezu

    What's good y'all!! Today, we will be discussing the Ezumezu (aka the Spiritual Team). I will be digging into what the Ezumezu is and how it correlates to our daily lives. This episode is actually an episode from "The Papi Wata's Grotto Patreon", and is another taste for y'all so that y'all can see the Patreon vibes!     We are back for Part Two of my Angelology series!! Today we are continuing our dive deep into "Angels", and will discuss the concept of Angels from the lense of the Abrahamic faith traditions and what Spirit says these beings REALLY are. Last episode we looked at the different types or tiers of Angels that exist, and we looked at the cosmic and more primordial origins of Angels as well.     Angelology Part One: Sacred Messengers

    It's my first episode post Spooky Szn '25, and we are going to get ANGELIC! How else are we supposed to cleanse out that spooky energy?!? But in all seriousness, today we are going to dive deep into "Angels", and will discuss what they are cosmically, purpose, and the different types (or levels) that exist within this group of spirits. As mentioned in my series on Demons, you can't really understand what a "Demon" is without understanding what an "Angel" is and vice versa, so that's why we have today's episode. Similarly to my Demonology episodes, my Angelology episodes will be broke into 2 parts. This first part focuses on the cosmic origins of "Angels" and the second part solely focuses on the concept of Angels from the Abrahamic faith traditions.     Baneful Magic: Hexes and Curses

    IT'S SPOOKY SZN!!!!! For this year's spooky season, I'm deciding to be a bit more festive and to have a theme for the "Papi Wata's Grotto Podcast (and Patreon), and this year's theme is (drum roll please)......"The Occult: Deconstructing The Dark". Throughout this series, I will be discussing the dark side of spirituality and will be demystifying, decolonizing and shedding some much needed light on certain occult topics. We are definitely definitely going to get *spicy* here and also a little bit controversial controversial and "taboo", but I wouldn't have it any other way tbh. Today's episode marks the LAST episode for this year's Spooky Szn theme. It has been such a fun ride, and I'm so grateful for all of the participation thus far! For today's episode we are going back to the realms of witchcraft and magic to discuss baneful magic- hexes and curses specifically. We will be breaking these concepts down, as I explain the differences between a hex and a curse, how to spot them and what can be done to break them. I'm going to be tying all the concepts from this year's Spooky Szn together in this episode- so pay attention and read between the lines so you can see what is truly being said!     Amosu vs. Dibia: Deconstructing Witches

Throughout this series, I will be discussing the dark side of spirituality and will be demystifying, decolonizing and shedding some much needed light on certain occult topics. To kick off this season, we will be taking a look at the Igbo concept of Amosu (aka Witches). In this episode I will answer what an Amosu (witch) is, why a person is born one, what is the nature of witchcraft, and what is the relationship between Amosu and Dibia (spiritual doctors).
